  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Leads team with five targets

Concepcion caught four of his five targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Jaguars. While Concepcion paced the team with his five targets, he ran just 20 routes on Deshaun Watson's 30 dropbacks, good for fourth on the Browns behind Denzel Boston (30), Jerry Jeudy (25) and Harold Fannin (24). It's going to be very difficult for this lackluster Cleveland offense to support any pass catchers as every-week fantasy starters. Concepcion will be a WR4/5 for next Sunday's road date with the Bucs.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Returning punts this week

Browns coach Todd Monken said Friday that Concepcion will handle all of the punt returns Sunday against Jacksonville, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Concepcion also figures to be one of the team's top offensive weapons, locked in for a top-three role alongside presumed starters Jerry Jeudy and Denzel Boston. The Browns also have TE Harold Fannin and RBs Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson in the mix for short-area targets, but Monken seems intent on getting the ball into Concepcion's hands, one way or another.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Looking to build off strong camp

Concepcion told reporters after Wednesday's practice that he's looking forward to carrying his strong play in training camp into the regular season, starting with the Browns' Week 1 clash against the Jaguars on Sunday, Sept. 13, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. "Seeing that these coaches have trust built up in me to put me in different type of situations, I would say that it only makes me more excited for Week 1," Concepcion shared with reporters Wednesday. Concepcion's lone preseason appearance was against the Bears on Aug. 15, but he looked good in that game and finished with three catches (on four targets) for 27 yards while adding a 14-yard rushing touchdown and a 31-yard punt return. The Texas A&M product was one of the standout players for the Browns in training camp, and the rookie first-rounder has enough trust from his coaching staff to be an immediate contributor on offense. Concepcion, fellow rookie Denzel Boston, veteran Jerry Jeudy, tight end Harold Fannin and running back Quinshon Judkins figure to be the key playmakers for the Browns this season, with Deshaun Watson manning the offense, at least to begin the campaign.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Finds end zone in preseason debut

Concepcion caught three of four targets for 27 yards and took his only carry 14 yards for a touchdown in Saturday's 34-10 preseason loss to the Bears. The rookie speedster just managed to stay in bounds and squeak into the end zone on an end-around in the second quarter. Concepcion, the 24th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, dealt with a minor shoulder issue last week, but it didn't seem to bother him in the first preseason action of his career. He's expected to be a key part of the passing game alongside veteran Jerry Jeudy and fellow rookie Denzel Boston, but Concepcion's usage Saturday is a good sign that he could see extra touches on the ground as well.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Says shoulder is fine

Concepcion said Friday that his shoulder has felt fine since returning to practice earlier this week, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Concepcion was diagnosed with an AC joint sprain after a hard fall at Monday's practice, but it was apparently only a minor sprain, considering he returned to team drills Wednesday. The report notes that he made a leaping catch at Thursday's practice without any visible aggravation of the injury. Concepcion is competing for a top-three role at WR and looks on track to make at least one appearance during the NFL preseason.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Rejoins team drills

Concepcion (shoulder) participated in team drills during Wednesday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. After landing hard on his right shoulder during Monday's session, Concepcion was limited to individual drills at Tuesday's practice. However, the wideout's return to team drills Wednesday, albeit in a non-padded practice, solidifies the notion that his injury wasn't a concerning one. As his rookie campaign approaches, Concepcion is destined to see a key role in a Cleveland WR corps that also features Jerry Jeudy and 2026 second-rounder Denzel Boston, a context that should garner the first-rounder enough volume to merit fantasy lineup consideration regardless of who starts at QB for the team.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Limited to individual work Tuesday

Concepcion (shoulder) was limited to individual drills at Tuesday's practice, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. Concepcion landed hard on his right shoulder in Monday's practice but was present for the start of Tuesday's session, only to be limited to individual work. It still sounds like the rookie wideout is dealing with only a minor injury. The first-round rookie is expected to move all over the formation for Cleveland this season and has a chance to pace the Browns in receiving yards during his first season. He'll be competing for targets with Harold Fannin, Jerry Jeudy and second-round rookie Denzel Boston.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Present for practice

Concepcion (shoulder) was spotted in pads during the early stages of Tuesday's practice, Dan Labbe of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. It remains to be seen if Concepcion is deemed a full participant in the practice, but it's a good sign to see the wideout out there a day after he landed hard on his right shoulder. While coach Todd Monken previously noted that the wideout was "still sore" in the wake of Monday's session, Concepcion's presence on the field Tuesday supports the notion that he was able to avoid a concerning injury.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Reportedly avoids serious injury

Concepcion (shoulder), who was shaken up during Monday's practice, is believed to have avoided a serious injury, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports. Per the report, the Browns expect Concepcion, who appeared to sustain a right shoulder injury after a hard fall while trying to make a catch during the session, to be fine. With that in mind, consider the 2026 first-rounder, who has had a strong start to training camp, day-to-day as the team's Aug. 15 preseason opener against the Bears approaches.

  • Browns' KC Concepcion: Shaken up at practice Monday

Concepcion (shoulder) was shaken up while trying to make a catch during Monday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. Per Oyefusi, the injury occurred during a two-minute drill, but Concepcion was able to walk off slowly afterward grabbing his right shoulder. Updates on the status of the 2026 first-rounder should emerge after Monday's practice, but when available, Concepcion is destined for a key role in a Browns WR corps that also features Jerry Jeudy and fellow rookie Denzel Boston.
