  • Rashee Rice WR | KC

Chiefs' Rashee Rice: Confirmed ready to return

Chiefs coach Andy Reid confirmed Wednesday that Rice will play in Sunday's game against the Raiders, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports.

Reid declined to discuss expectations for playing time, saying he isn't sure how many snaps Rice will take. Reid did say that the wideout is in good shape, and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the Chiefs won't ease Rice back into action. Rice's impressive production to this point in his career means most fantasy managers will want him in lineups, even if there are minor workload concerns for his first game in more than a year. He's coming back from a six-game suspension after completing his rehab from an LCL tear during the offseason. Rice also dealt with a groin injury during the preseason, but there's been no hint of any trouble there since August. He's been allowed at team facilities since Week 4, giving the Chiefs plenty of time to evaluate his conditioning and get him up to speed schematically.

  • Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE

Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Limited in practice Wednesday

Jeudy (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Jeudy is listed on Cleveland's injury report for the first time this year, though the fact that he was able to practice on at least a limited basis provides reason for optimism that he'll be able to gain clearance for Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins. Still, Jeudy has struggled notably with efficiency across two appearances with quarterback Dillon Gabriel under center, having totaled seven grabs for 58 yards (on 18 targets) in that span. Even if he's able to resume practicing in full and avoid an injury designation entirely for Week 7, fantasy managers may be motivated to pursue an option at the wide receiver position that has demonstrated greater upside. Across six regular-season appearances so far Jeudy has yet to score a touchdown, and he hasn't surpassed 50 receiving yards since Week 2.

  • Jalin Hyatt WR | NYG

Giants' Jalin Hyatt: Dealing with ankle issue

Hyatt was limited at Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Hyatt has settled into a modest role in New York's offense over the last three games, but it took him until last Thursday's win against the Eagles to make a mark in the box score (3-17-0 on five targets). With Malik Nabers (knee) out for the season and Darius Slayton (hamstring) still not practicing, Hyatt is lined up to be involved on game days, assuming he makes it through Week 7 prep unscathed.

  • Skyy Moore WR | SF

49ers' Skyy Moore: Absent from practice

San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday that Moore (ankle) is not practicing, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Moore appears to have sustained an ankle injury during the 49ers' loss to Tampa Bay in Week 6, making him uncertain for Sunday's contest against the Falcons. He hasn't logged a target on offense in back-to-back games, though Moore did compile a season-best 109 yards as a kick returner versus the Buccaneers, plus 25 yards as a punt returner. He remains off the fantasy radar in all formats other than deeper leagues that place a premium on return yardage.

  • Josh Downs WR | IND

Colts' Josh Downs: In concussion protocol

    Downs (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday.

With Downs in the NFL's concussion protocol, per Stephen Holder of ESPN.com, the wideout's status will need to be tracked ahead of this weekend's game against the Chargers. In this past Sunday's 31-27 win over the Cardinals, Downs logged a 51 percent snap share while catching six of his seven targets for 42 yards and a touchdown. If he's limited or out versus Los Angles, Ashton Dulin (chest) -- if available -- Adonai Mitchell and Anthony Gould would be candidates for added snaps alongside fellow WRs Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce.

  • 49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Unable to practice Wednesday

San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan said Pearsall (knee) will not practice Wednesday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Shanahan said Monday that Pearsall would be evaluated Wednesday to determine his practice level for Week 7, so the 2024 first-round pick's lack of participation could be a sign that he isn't yet nearing a return to on-field reps. Meanwhile, QB Brock Purdy (toe), TE George Kittle (hamstring) and WR Jauan Jennings (ribs) all practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, and all three appear to have a chance at playing Sunday versus the Falcons. Kittle remains on IR for the time being, however, while Jennings played through five broken ribs during San Francisco's loss to the Buccaneers in Week 6.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | WAS

Commanders' Deebo Samuel: Listed as non-participant

Samuel (heel) is listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice report.

He played through the same injury the past two games, putting up an 8-96-1 receiving line in Week 5 before slumping to 4-15-0 in Week 6. Samuel topped a 70 percent snap share in both games, but the Commanders might ease up on his workload some if the heel continues to give him trouble and WR Terry McLaurin (quad) is available to pick up slack. McLaurin is returning to practice this week, but it isn't yet clear if he'll be ready for Sunday's game at Dallas. Samuel also needs to be monitored, and there will be serious concern if he doesn't return to practice by Friday.

  • 49ers' Jauan Jennings: Limited in practice

San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said Jennings (ankle/rib/shoulder) will be limited in practice Wednesday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Jennings played through five broken ribs, among other health concerns, during the 49ers' loss to Tampa Bay in Week 6, a contest in which he handled 77 percent of offensive snaps but secured just one of three targets for seven yards. While Jennings may again manage to play through his injuries at home against the Falcons on Sunday, he's combined for just three grabs for 31 yards (on seven targets) in his last two appearances. Meanwhile, Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Skyy Moore (undisclosed) are not practicing Wednesday.

  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Listed as limited

McLaurin (quadriceps) is listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice report.

The report is just an estimate after the Commanders held a walk-through. McLaurin is expected to resume practicing in earnest Thursday, although presumably with limitations. Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday that he isn't sure if McLaurin will be ready for Sunday's game at Dallas.

  • Jalen Coker WR | CAR

Panthers' Jalen Coker: Looks good in practice

Coker (quadriceps) was a full practice participant Wednesday, with Panthers coach Dave Canales saying afterward that the wideout looked great, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Coker was a full practice participant throughout last week but didn't get activated from injured reserve for Sunday's win over the Cowboys. He'll likely be ready this Sunday against the Jets, although Canales didn't commit to anything and said Coker will continue to be evaluated as the week progresses.
