Kaden Davis: Can't secure roster spot
The Browns are waiving Davis on Tuesday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Davis put together a strong preseason in Cleveland and is expected to resurface on the team's practice squad if he clears waivers. A 2022 UDFA, Davis' regular-season debut came in Week 18 with the Browns last season, a game in which he wasn't targeted but impressed on special teams by racking up 107 yards as a kick returner.

Chris Moore: Released by Washington
The Commanders released Moore on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Moore appeared in five regular-season games for the Cardinals last season but was released in November. He signed with Washington's practice squad Dec. 26 and re-signed with the team following the season. The 32-year-old caught one pass for five yards this preseason.

Andrew Armstrong: Let go by Miami
The Dolphins waived Armstrong on Tuesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Armstrong spent the offseason in Miami after going undrafted out of Arkansas back in April, but he couldn't secure a spot on the 53-man roster. The rookie wideout will look to practice squads around the league as he seeks his next NFL opportunity.

Robert Woods: Steelers move on
The Steelers are releasing Woods, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The door is open for a possible return to the team after the 53-man roster is finalized if he doesn't get a better offer, but Woods plans to play in 2025 regardless. For now it looks like the Steelers' WR3 job behind DK Metcalf and Calvin Austin (abdomen) remains up for grabs, with 2024 third-round pick Roman Wilson and veteran Scotty Miller the top options.

Ife Adeyi: Waived by Philly
The Eagles waived Adeyi on Tuesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Adeyi spent time with Philadelphia both during spring and summer, but he couldn't carve out a spot on the initial 53-man roster. The team could be interested in bringing the undrafted rookie out of Sam Houston back as a member of the practice squad, if he clears waivers.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Dumped by G-Men
The Giants released Humphrey on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Humphrey had a productive preseason, catching six passes for 94 yards and one touchdown on eight targets across 96 offensive snaps. The 27-year-old veteran wideout appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Broncos last season, making seven starts, and finished with a 31-293-1 receiving line on 45 targets.

Erik Ezukanma: Waived by Miami
The Dolphins waived Ezukanma on Tuesday, NFL.com reports.
Ezukanma, a 2022 second-round pick, totaled just five regular-season appearances during his three seasons with Miami, in large part due to injuries. In that span, he secured just one of four total targets for a three-yard gain, with that lone reception having come during his rookie season. He may get a chance to continue his development on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

The Panthers waived Reed on Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Undrafted out of San Diego, Reed played 26 offensive snaps this preseason and caught just one pass for six yards. He'll try to latch on with a practice squad once he clears waivers.

Kevin Austin: Let go by Saints
New Orleans waived Austin on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Austin is among a slew of players the Saints will part ways with Tuesday en route to a final 53-man roster. The fourth-year pro appeared in eight regular-season games with New Orleans in 2024, securing 11 of 22 targets for 151 yards.

Theo Wease: Cut by Miami
The Dolphins waived Wease on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Undrafted out of Missouri, Wease signed with Miami back in April and played 70 offensive snaps during the preseason, finishing with a productive 10-104-2 receiving line on 15 targets. He was also standing out during training camp, so Wease could be a candidate to join the Dolphins' practice squad if he clears waivers.
