Meyers did not suit up for Saturday's 24-20 preseason victory over the Saints.

As an established veteran, Meyers was held out of Saturday's contest for rest and injury prevention purposes. He remains on track to open the regular season as one of Jacksonville's top three wideouts alongside Brian Thomas and Parker Washington.

Thornton started at wide receiver Saturday's 20-12 preseason loss to the Rams, according to Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star.

Thornton did not draw a target in Saturday's contest, but he played only six snaps and left the game before both Jalen Royals and Cyrus Allen, which is an indication the Chiefs are comfortable with where he stands. Allen has made noise during the preseason, but Thornton presumably remains the favorite to open as the third receiver behind Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy (shoulder).

Foster caught five of seven targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 17-7 preseason loss to the Cowboys, building on what has been a strong performance in training camp, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Foster had a five-yard touchdown catch and almost added a 68-yard touchdown to his stat line Saturday, but Drew Lock overthrew to an open Foster down the sideline in a game during which the Seahawks rested most of their starters. Foster's strong preseason debut could help him in his quest to secure a depth role in a Seattle wide receiver room that also includes Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, Cooper Kupp, Tory Horton, Jake Bobo and Emmanuel Henderson. The 25-year-old Foster will look to keep building momentum in Seattle's second preseason game against the Titans on Aug. 23.

Head coach Shane Steichen said Sunday that he doesn't expect Pierce (ankle) to return during joint practices leading up to the Colts' second preseason game against the Falcons on Saturday, so Pierce will have missed all of training camp, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

The Colts' expectation has been that Pierce will recover in time to face the Ravens in the Sept. 13 regular-season opener, but Pierce's recovery from April surgery on his left ankle has limited him to individual work up until this point, and he's still at least a week away from ramping up to full practice participation. Josh Downs, Ashton Dulin and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are the top healthy options in the Colts' wide receiver room.

Shaheed didn't suit up for Saturday's 17-7 preseason loss to the Cowboys.

Shaheed was among the numerous Seahawks starters that sat out the preseason opener. Montorie Foster took advantage of his expanded role with five catches for 36 yards and a touchdown Saturday. Jaxon Smith-Njigba remains the undisputed No. 1 wide receiver for the Seahawks, while Shaheed, Cooper Kupp, Tory Horton, Jake Bobo and possibly Foster or Emmanuel Henderson will compete for targets behind Smith-Njigba. Shaheed also is projected to maintain his role as the primary return man on special teams.

Flowers was rested for Baltimore's 24-7 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.

Flowers has fully recovered from a left quadriceps contusion that he suffered the previous Saturday, but the 2023 first-round pick was among the established starters that Baltimore opted to keep out of Saturday's preseason opener. The Ravens drafted wide receivers Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt in the third and fourth rounds, respectively, of the 2026 NFL Draft, but Flowers is projected to reprise his role as Lamar Jackson's favorite target on the heels of a 2025 regular season in which Flowers posted a career-high 1,211 receiving yards.

Washington did not play in the Jaguars' 24-20 preseason win versus the Saints on Saturday.

Washington sat out along with the rest of Jacksonville's key starters, leaving undrafted rookie Trebor Pena to lead the team with three receptions for 58 yards. The 2023 second-round pick is coming off a career-best season, tallying 58 catches (on 96 targets) for 847 yards and five touchdowns across 16 regular-season games last year. Washington also had a strong start to training camp this offseason, and he should be in line for a significant role alongside fellow starting wideouts Brian Thomas and Jakobi Meyers.

Olave did not play in the Saints' 24-20 preseason loss to the Jaguars on Saturday.

Olave watched from the sidelines along with a group of New Orleans' key starters, including QB Tyler Shough, RB Travis Etienne, TE Juwan Johnson and others. Third-year wideout Bub Means led the Saints with four catches (on five targets) for 77 yards while Zach Wilson, Hunter Dekkers and Spencer Rattler all cycled in under center. Olave is coming off a career-best 2025 campaign when he recorded 100 catches (on 155 targets) for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns across 16 regular-season games. He also signed a four-year extension worth up to $132 million this offseason, and he should be in line for another productive season while catching passes from Shough in 2026. Olave's next chance to play this preseason will come Saturday, Aug. 22 versus the Rams.

The Raiders signed Brown to a contract Sunday.

Brown suffered a litany of injuries throughout the 2025 season, playing just four games. The wide receiver battled groin and knee issues before succumbing to injured reserve in mid-December with a rib injury. The four regular-season games Brown could play in resulted in five receptions (on 10 targets) for 83 yards. The 30-year-old is now healthy and ready to prove himself to a Raiders team that has a wide-open depth chart at wide receiver.

Gould (groin) did not participate in Sunday's practice, Nathan Brown of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Gould has now missed consecutive practices in addition to last Thursday's preseason opener against the Patriots. The wide receiver seems to be fighting a significant injury and it is unclear when he will be able to return to the field. Gould is listed as the team's primary kick and punt returner, meaning Coleman Owen should continue to receive chances to prove himself in Saturday's preseason showdown with the Falcons due to the starter's absence.
