Dyson signed with the Vikings' practice squad Monday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

The linebacker was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement Saturday after dealing with an undisclosed issue. Now that he's on the practice squad, he appears to be healthy again. Dyson last appeared in an NFL regular-season game in 2024 with Carolina.

Gray got in a UTV accident over the weekend and had to enter the NFL's concussion protocol, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Davenport further clarified that, "It was not a case of reckless driving and no alcohol was involved." A statement from the team said Gray should be able to return once he's out of the protocol. The linebacker finished fourth in the NFL last season with 164 tackles (97 solo).

The Broncos signed Rapp to the practice squad Monday.

The Broncos released Rapp on Aug. 26 ahead of cutdown day. The veteran safety was unable to land an opportunity on another team's 53-man roster, so he'll return to Denver and await an opportunity for a promotion to the active roster if Talanoa Hufanga or Brandon Jones is sidelined due to injury at some point.

Okada (hamstring) did not participate in Monday's practice, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.

Okada sat out Sunday's practice as well, marking consecutive missed sessions due to the hamstring injury. It appears increasingly unlikely the 27-year-old will be able to suit up for Wednesday's Week 1 matchup against the Patriots, and it remains to be seen who'll slide into Okada's starting strong safety role if he's indeed sidelined.

The Raiders signed Gurd to the practice squad Monday.

The Raiders waived Gurd on Aug. 29 ahead of cutdown day. The undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati cleared waivers and will now have a chance to play for the team that originally took a shot on him. Gurd will provide additional depth at tight end from his practice-squad spot.

Small signed with the Lions' practice squad Monday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The running back ended the 2025 campaign on Detroit's practice squad, signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January, made the initial 53-man roster out of training camp this year and then got waived Sept. 2. Small did suffer a concussion during the Lions' final preseason game, but he was let go without an injury designation or settlement, freeing him up to sign with Detroit once he cleared waivers. The former Tennessee Volunteer has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game since coming out of college in 2024.

Donald stated only "we're taking it day by day" when asked Monday if he'll travel to Australia and/or play in the Rams' season opener against San Francisco on Thursday, Vincent Bonsignore of the California Post reports.

Previous reports indicated that Donald would at least travel to Australia, but it's uncertain if that's still the case. Donald didn't officially unretire until Aug. 30, so he may not be fully ready to return to NFL action after logging his most recent snap during the 2023 season. Even if he does travel and suit up, Donald may be given a reduced workload as he eases his way back from a lengthy hiatus.

The Chargers cut Jennings from the practice squad Monday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

Jennings signed with the practice squad Tuesday after being waived from the Chargers' 90-man roster on cutdown day. The wide receiver was cut to make room for cornerback Isas Waxter, who signed with the practice squad in a corresponding move.

Oweh (calf) took part in the Commanders' walk-through session Monday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

The linebacker has been nursing the calf issue since mid-August. Now that he has returned to some on-field work, he may have a chance to play in the team's season opener against Philadelphia on Sunday. Oweh signed a four-year, $96-million contract with the Commanders in the offseason.

Gordon (ribs) was able to practice with contact in Monday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Gordon has finally returned to practice without the non-contact jersey. The running back may be ready to go for Miami's Week 1 matchup with the Raiders on Sunday, but he could be held out as a precaution. The second-year pro is set to serve as the No. 3 option behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright, meaning the Dolphins arguably have the luxury of giving Gordon an extra week to recover if necessary.
