Wyatt (knee) participated in practice in a limited fashion Wednesday.

Wyatt hurt his knee in Week 4 versus Dallas and hasn't played since. He hadn't been practicing before this week, so his return to the field -- albeit in limited fashion -- Wednesday is an encouraging sign. When asked about Wyatt's status Wednesday, Packers coach Matt LaFleur said, "Wyatt, he'll get out there for practice today. We'll see how he practices this week," per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site.

Kneeland (ankle) turned in a limited practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Kneeland was held out of the Cowboys' Week 7 win over Washington with the same ankle injury. He practiced in limited fashion throughout the week leading up to Sunday's absence, so his status for Week 8 remains unclear.

Autry (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Autry was activated from the reserve/PUP list and cleared to make his 2025 debut against the Seahawks on Monday, when he logged two solo tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and a blocked field-goal attempt in a 27-19 loss. Autry is still working through the knee injury that caused him to miss the first five games of the regular season, but he'll have two more chances to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Thomas (migraine) was limited in practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Thomas was sidelined by the illness in Week 7 after being added to the injury report Thursday. It's positive that he was able to take the field in any capacity Wednesday, but his status for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos remains unclear.

McKinney (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

McKinney has not missed a defensive snap so far this season, but he appears to have hurt his ankle in this past Sunday's win over Arizona, during which he finished with eight tackles and a defensed pass. The veteran safety may not be dealing with a major issue, though, since he was able to practice in a limited fashion to begin the week. If McKinney can return to full practice participation by the end of Friday, he should be fully cleared to suit up against the Steelers on Sunday.

Overshown (knee) logged a limited practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Overshown has been sidelined all season while recovering from a torn ACL and MCL, but he was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday. He's expected to use the full practice window before retaking the field, lining him up for a Week 11 return against the Raiders.

Gaines (toe) did not participate in Wednesday's walkthrough practice, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Gaines likely picked up the injury during Monday's loss against the Lions, when he logged one tackle while playing 19 snaps on defense. The severity of his injury isn't clear given Wednesday's practice was a walkthrough, so the next two practice reports will shed light on his chances of playing against the Saints on Sunday.

Williams (back) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.

Williams logged eight tackles in this past Sunday's win over Arizona but appears to have hurt his back in the process. His ability to practice in limited fashion to begin the week suggests the injury isn't major, but Williams may need to upgrade to full participation before the end of the week to avoid getting tagged with an injury status ahead of Sunday's matchup versus Pittsburgh.

Winfield did not participate in Wednesday's walkthrough practice due to a toe injury, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Winfield played 67 of 68 defensive snaps and played eight tackles (six solo) during the Buccaneers' 24-9 loss to the Lions on Monday, but he appears to have picked up a toe injury in the process. The 2020 second-rounder will have two more opportunities to return to practice and potentially avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Saints.

Wilson (elbow) did not practice Wednesday, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Wilson suffered the injury in Week 6, but he managed to play through it Sunday against the Commanders. He worked in limited fashion last Wednesday, so it's unclear if the injury worsened or if the Cowboys are just opting to give Wilson additional rest.
