Jackson told reporters recently that injuries factored into his running less in 2025, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. "I believe you know ... a lot of people know [that] I was hurt last year, so I really could not do anything like I wanted to," said Jackson.

Hamstring and back injuries forced Jackson to miss four games last season and sapped his rushing ability even when he was active. This led to Jackson posting career lows in rushing attempts (67) and yards (349). Jackson is now fully healthy going into 2026, his first season operating Declan Doyle's offense. The Ravens open the season on the road in Indianapolis on Sept. 13.

Bosa (knee) worked off to the side in Monday's practice and is expected to do the same Tuesday, with a return to fuller participation planned for Wednesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Bosa is ramping up as the season opener looms Sept. 10 in Australia. He is working his way back from a season-ending ACL injury early in the 2025 campaign and was still dealing with soreness in August. The team will monitor how his knee holds up under increased activity, but Bosa could be back in team drills as early as Wednesday.

Jones was crisp in practice throughout training camp, 107.5 The Fan reports.

Jones has put last season's Achilles injury behind him and turned in a strong training camp as he gets ready for 2026. Despite not having a full complement of weapons at his disposal given absences from Josh Downs (calf), Alec Pierce (ankle) and Tyler Warren (groin) and the late signing of Keenan Allen, Jones still impressed. The Colts open their season Sept. 13 at home against Baltimore.

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Tuesday that Slovis will be signed to the practice squad, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Though Slovis wasn't able to win a spot on the Cardinals' season-opening roster, the third-year quarterback made a strong impression on the Green Bay staff during the preseason finale between the two teams this past Friday. In the Cardinals' 42-38 loss, Slovis completed 21 of 35 passes for 223 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while adding 12 yards on two carries. He'll slot third on the Packers' organizational depth chart, putting him first in line to be elevated to the roster if starter Jordan Love or top backup Tyrod Taylor miss time at any point.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said Tuesday that Hurts has "embraced" the new offense and is "excited about it" headed into the season, John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

"I think Jalen's adjusted really well to the new offense," Roseman said. "Now again, we're at a moment in time, we haven't played a game. This isn't in reference to Jalen; this is in reference to anything else. I think that a lot of the things that we'll do during the regular season when we have game plans, I think from an offensive perspective, they're going to be different than what we've done in the past. Jalen's embraced it. He's excited about it and obviously we've got to be better than we were last year." Hurts struggled with interceptions during training camp and didn't see any action during the preseason, so Week 1 against the Commanders will provide his first actual game action under new OC Sean Mannion. The 28-year-old Hurts is expected to once again be in the mix as a top-five fantasy quarterback after setting a new career high with 25 touchdown passes over 16 regular-season games in 2025 to go along with a career-best 1.3 percent interception rate. His rushing numbers fell off however, as he punched in just eight touchdowns after averaging 14 over the previous three seasons, and his 421 rushing yards represented his lowest total since he was a rookie in 2020.

Henry is still expected to be a key part of the Patriots offense this season, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.

The Patriots made several splashy moves this offseason, including the additions of wideouts A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs, but Henry should remain a frequent target for Drake Maye. The veteran has caught 60 or more passes from the young QB in each of the last two seasons. There's also a lack of experienced options behind him on the tight end depth chart, giving Henry extra job security.

Kittle (Achilles) participated in practice Monday and plans to do so again Tuesday, David Lombardi of the San Francisco Standard reports.

Kittle is making strides in his recovery from an Achilles tear suffered in the playoffs. He went through some team drills Monday, and the fact that he's going to be on the field back-to-back days is especially encouraging. The 49ers are just over a week away from their season opener in Australia, so it's still a tight timeline for Kittle to get up to game speed. The team is flying down this week, so whether he even gets on the plane should provide a clear sign of whether he will be in the Week 1 lineup.

McMillan (knee) remains sidelined at Tuesday's practice, PewterReport.com reports.

McMillan missed most of training camp with a knee issue, but optimism is building for his Week 1 availability. He's expected to fill the No. 3 receiver role behind Emeka Egbuka (toe) and Chris Godwin, though 2026 third-round pick Ted Hurst is also likely to see sub-package snaps, and Tez Johnson acquitted himself well as a rookie when he got the chance last year. McMillan appeared in just four regular-season games last season due to a neck injury. He turned 15 targets into 12 catches for 178 yards and zero TDs after producing eight touchdowns as a rookie in 2024.

Texans general manager Nick Caserio said Tuesday that Dell (knee) is getting "closer" to a return, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. "He's close, he's not quite there," Caserio said. "He's closer than he was during training camp."

Dell was placed on injured reserve with a designation for return to begin the season and will be required to miss at least the Texans' first four games. While Dell is sidelined, the likes of Kayshon Boutte, Jaylin Noel and Xavier Hutchinson will vie for snaps behind No. 1 wideout Nico Collins.

San Francisco general manager John Lynch said Tuesday the team hopes to have Evans (groin) back at practice next week, David Lombardi of the San Francisco Standard reports.

The veteran wideout has been slowed by an adductor injury over the last week. The Niners will continue to be cautious with Evans as they prepare for their season opener Sept. 10 in Australia. That Evans won't practice this week is notable, given the already tight timeline and the upcoming international travel.
