  • Khalil Dorsey CB | DET

Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Out for Week 5

Dorsey (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Dorsey practiced in full Thursday but must have experienced renewed symptoms and was listed as DNP on Friday. Terrion Arnold, Rock Ya-Sin, Amik Robertson and Avonte Maddox are the Lions' healthy cornerbacks for Week 5.

  • Blake Hance G | LAR

Titans' Blake Hance: Won't play Week 5

Hance (shoulder) has been ruled for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.

Hance was unable to practice all week due to a shoulder injury. His absence thins the Titans' depth at offensive line for Sunday's road game, which could prompt the team to elevate Clay Webb from the practice squad to the active roster.

  • 49ers' Yetur Gross-Matos: Set to miss 'some time'

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Friday that Gross-Matos will miss some time with a strained hamstring, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Gross-Matos was added to the 49ers' injury carousel Thursday against the Rams, and it looks like it may be the type of issue that could cause him to miss multiple games. If there's any consolation, it's that San Francisco gets a post-Thursday game mini-bye before having to travel across the country to Tampa Bay in Week 6.

  • JC Latham OT | TEN

Titans' JC Latham: Won't play Week 5

Latham (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Arizona, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.

Latham will miss a fourth consecutive game due to a hip injury, but Glennon relays that the second-year offensive tackle has an opportunity to return for Week 6 against the Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 12. Olisaemeka Udoh got the start at right tackle in Week 4 against the Texans and figures to reprise that role against the Cardinals.

  • Ethan Bonner CB | MIA

Dolphins' Ethan Bonner: Cleared to play Sunday

Bonner (hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against Carolina, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.

Bonner has appeared in just one game this season, seeing one defensive snap and another 14 on special teams for the Dolphins. He's unlikely to see much action on defense against the Panthers.

  • Buccaneers' Benjamin Morrison: Won't suit up against Seahawks

Coach Todd Bowles said Friday that Morrison (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game at Seattle, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Morrison was forced out of the game early in Week 4 versus the Eagles with a hamstring injury, and now he'll be sidelined in Week 5 as he recovers. In his stead, the Buccaneers may need to call on 2023 sixth-rounder Josh Hayes for significant playing time at cornerback Sunday.

  • Giants' Chauncey Golston: Good to go for Week 5

Golston (ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Saints.

Golston has missed the Giants' previous two contests but will return against New Orleans to fill his role as a rotational defensive lineman.

  • Mike Brown SAF | NE

Titans' Mike Brown: Won't play against Arizona

Brown (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.

Brown has been working through a knee injury, and the issue is severe enough for him to miss the final two practices of the week. He'll be sidelined for Sunday's road contest, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 6 against the Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 12. Brown has one solo tackle through four games while serving solely in a special-teams role.

  • Daniel Scott SAF | IND

Colts' Daniel Scott: Won't play against Las Vegas

Scott has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders due to a knee injury, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Scott was held out of practice all week due to a knee injury, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 6 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Oct. 12. He's mostly served on special teams, but in his absence, Rodney Thomas will serve as the top depth option at safety behind Nick Cross and Camryn Bynum.

  • Christian Izien SAF | DET

Buccaneers' Christian Izien: Won't play at Seattle

Coach Todd Bowles said Friday that Izien (quadriceps) is out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Izien will sit out for a second straight game as he continues to recover from a quad injury he picked up in Week 3 versus the Jets. In his absence, Kaevon Merriweather could see an uptick in reps in the secondary in Week 5.
