Panthers' Tershawn Wharton: Ruled out for Week 5
Wharton (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Dorian Strong CB | BUF
Bills' Dorian Strong: Not playing vs. New England
Strong has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots due to a neck injury.
Strong was unable to participate in the last two practices of the week due to a neck injury, and the rookie sixth-rounder will miss his first game of the season as a result. Ja'Marcus Ingram and Cam Lewis are in line to see more rotational work at corner behind Tre'Davious White and Christian Benford due to Strong's absence. John Ridgeway DT | NO
Saints' John Ridgeway: Questionable for Sunday vs. Giants
Ridgeway (shoulder) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Giants.
Ridgeway was a full participant at practice both Thursday and Friday, so he may be on the 'probable' end of the questionable designation. If he's able to suit up for the first time in 2025 in Week 5, he projects to fill a rotational role on the defensive line.

Malik Turner WR | SF
Malik Turner: Goes back to practice squad
Turner reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transactions log.
Turner played just six of San Francisco's 86 offensive snaps Thursday, as Demarcus Robinson (73), Kendrick Bourne (70) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (46) dominated in that category. With the 49ers still dealing with a ton of injuries at wide receiver, Turner could again be a candidate for elevation in Week 6 at Tampa Bay.

Lawrance Toafili RB | NYJ
Lawrance Toafili: Let go by Jets again
The Jets cut Toafili from the practice squad Friday, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.
The move makes room on the practice squad for fellow running back Avery Williams. It's the second time Toafili has been removed from the Jets' practice squad this season. The undrafted rookie may be invited back with Gang Green at some point this season, but he will now have the chance to explore his options and catch on with a team in need of backfield depth on the practice squad.

Caelen Carson DB | DAL
Cowboys' Caelen Carson: Questionable to make season debut
Carson (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Carson practiced in a limited capacity all week after the Cowboys designated him to return from their injured reserve list Wednesday, and it seems like he might have a reasonable chance to play in Week 5. If he's ready, he'll slot into a depth role in the cornerback rotation Sunday.
