White was released by the Saints on Sunday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

The Saints traded for White in exchange for Deion Jones on Aug. 23 while battling injuries in the backfield, but New Orleans has ultimately deemed the 2022 fourth-round pick of the Raiders unneeded on the 53-man roster. White, who has 736 career rushing yards in 45 regular-season games, will try to find an opportunity elsewhere but may have to settle for a spot on some team's practice squad.

The Giants waived Finley on Sunday.

Finley was unable to earn a roster spot after signing with the Giants as an undrafted free agent earlier this month. If he clears waivers, the 23-year-old could be a candidate to land on the team's practice squad.

The NFL placed Jacobs (groin) on the Commissioner's Exempt List on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jacobs was officially charged Thursday with two misdemeanors stemming from his May arrest for a domestic incident in Brown County, Wis, with a court appearance scheduled for Nov. 17. For as long as he's on the list, he won't be able to practice or play in games, and there's no word on how long this may be his reality. Aside from Jacobs, the Packers backfield is occupied by MarShawn Lloyd, Chris Brooks and newcomer Kaleb Johnson, with Lloyd the likely favorite to handle the largest workload during Jacobs' absence.

Carlson has won the Saints' kicker competition, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Carlson was the last one to enter New Orleans' three-man competition but also is the last man standing. After signing with the Saints on Monday, Carlson has made the 53-man roster, while Tanner Brown and Charlie Smyth have both been cut. Carlson converted only 22 of 27 field-goal attempts (81.5 percent) for the Raiders in the 2025 regular season, but he has a career conversion rate of 86.9 percent.

The NFL is placing Jacobs on the commissioner exempt list, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. He will not be able to play or practice while on the list, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Jacobs was formally charged with battery and criminal damage to property last week, and will have his next hearing date in November. We'll await further details to see when he could be reinstated.

The Colts waived Pancol on Sunday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Pancol spent time last season with both Jacksonville and Indianapolis' practice squads before signing a reserve/future contract with the Colts in January. The 2025 undrafted free agent will look to catch on with another team and make his regular-season debut during the upcoming campaign.

Sturdivant has made Green Bay's initial 53-man roster, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

The undrafted free agent out of Florida impressed the coaching staff with 112 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Packers' preseason finale. Sturdivant is likely to be limited to a depth role out of the gate, as Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden seem secure in the top three spots on the wide receiver depth chart.

The Packers waived Neyor on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.

Neyor signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January but was unable to impress enough throughout the offseason to earn a roster spot. The 25-year-old spent last season on Green Bay's practice squad and could do so once again during the upcoming campaign should he go unclaimed on waivers.

Johnson was released by the Titans on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Johnson lasted just 11 days in Tennessee before being released as part of the team's cut-down to 53 players on the roster. The 30-year-old running back has 103 games of regular-season experience, so Johnson could be called upon by a team later in the season if backfield injuries strike, even if he's unable to find a landing spot immediately.

The veteran of 14 NFL teams signed with Cincinnati in March to compete for a backup role behind Joe Burrow, but he found himself the odd man out next to fellow veteran signing Joe Flacco and developmental prospect Sean Clifford. Johnson saw action in five regular-season games and on 137 offensive snaps for Washington last year, completing 63 percent of his passes for 372 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
