The Packers waived Prather on Sunday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Prather signed with the team in July but was unable to earn a roster spot. The 23-year-old was selected by the Bills in the seventh round of the 2025 Draft but ended up spending his rookie season in the UFL with the Louisville Kings. He will now look to catch on with another team and make his regular-season debut.

Pierce was let go by the Eagles on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Pierce failed to make Philadelphia's 53-man roster, but the Eagles would like to add him to their practice squad if he doesn't get a chance on a roster elsewhere. The 2022 fourth-round pick of the Texans has been unable to recapture the magic of his rookie campaign, when Pierce rushed for 939 yards in the regular season. He has only 745 regular-season rushing yards across three subsequent campaigns.

Nixon was waived by the Packers on Sunday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

The running back recorded 13 carries for 64 yards and a touchdown during the preseason, but he still found himself behind Josh Jacobs (groin), MarShawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks on the depth chart, and Green Bay also traded for Kaleb Johnson, a 2025 third-round pick of the Steelers, on Sunday. Nonetheless, due to his strong preseason performance, Nixon is a candidate to return to the Packers as a member of their practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Jaguars waived Boyd on Sunday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Boyd was unable to impress enough to earn a roster spot after having signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent in April. The 24-year-old will now look to catch on with another team.

Smyth was waived by the Saints on Sunday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Smyth served as the Saints' kicker for the final six games of the 2025 regular season, but he has failed to make the team heading into the 2026 campaign. Even with Smyth out of the mix, the Saints still have two options left at kicker in Daniel Carlson and Tanner Brown. Per Triplett's colleague Nick Underhill, the Saints intend to keep Smyth on the practice squad if another team doesn't sign him.

The Chiefs waived Loyd on Sunday, Jesse Newell of The Athletic reports.

Loyd's tenure with the Chiefs has seemingly come to an end after he joined the team as an undrafted free agent in May following a successful tryout. He will now look to catch on with another team.

Watson was released by the Texans on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Watson was in camp with the Texans after appearing in three regular-season games with Houston in 2025. The 30-year-old wide receiver is a veteran of 93 NFL games, so he may garner some interest as a depth option for a team in search of help in the passing game.

The Patriots waived Westover on Sunday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

Westover spent the past two seasons with the team but was unable to earn a roster spot ahead of the upcoming campaign. The 27-year-old could be a candidate for a spot on New England's practice squad should he clear waivers.

Hagans was waived by the Colts on Sunday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

After Indianapolis signed Keenan Allen in mid August, Hagans was competing for one of the last spots on the depth chart, and he didn't do anything to separate himself during preseason action. The wide receiver was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent in May after catching 43 passes for 508 yards and six touchdowns at Duke in 2025.

Strong was cut by the Packers on Sunday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Strong fell out of the Packers' plans when Green Bay traded for Steelers running back Kaleb Johnson on Sunday. The 27-year-old Strong has appeared in 46 regular-season games, split between the Patriots and Browns, though he hasn't dressed for one since the 2024 campaign.
