Traore failed to catch his sole target in Friday's preseason finale against the Dolphins.

Traore played 26 offensive snaps for the Dolphins in the contest as a reserve tight end. The rookie fifth-rounder is in line for a regular-season role that will predominantly require blocking for the offense and special-teams units. It is unlikely that Traore can surpass Greg Dulcich or Will Kacmarek (undisclosed) enough to earn any substantial looks in the passing game.

The Falcons released Tindall on Saturday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.

Tindall joined the team in March and spent the offseason competing for a depth role but in the end was unable to earn a roster spot. The 2022 third-round pick spent part of last season with the Cardinals and will now look to catch on with another team.

Ambry's time with the Eagles has come to an end after he signed with the team back in January. The 26-year-old hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since the 2023 season with the 49ers, and he will now look to catch on with another team.

McLaughlin has been diagnosed with a concussion and is in the league's five-step protocol, Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News reports.

McLaughlin suffered a concussion during Saturday's preseason finale against the Colts. The backup center will need to be regularly checked by an independent neurologist to progress through the protocol and return to full contact practices.

Rowan's time in Denver has seemingly come to an end just over three weeks after he signed with the team. The 25-year-old will now look to find a new opportunity with another squad.

The Dolphins traded Ewers to the Jaguars on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The trade will send Ewers to Jacksonville in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Ewers appeared to be ahead of both Cam Miller and Mark Gronowski for the Dolphins' backup quarterback job behind starter Malik Willis. Instead, Ewers will head to Jacksonville, and it's unclear whether he'll be the team's QB2 behind Trevor Lawrence or whether the 2025 seventh-rounder will drop behind Nick Mullens on the depth chart.

The Texans cut Rypien on Saturday, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports reports.

Rypien had just signed with the team two weeks ago following Graham Mertz's season-ending knee injury but wasn't able to earn a spot on the roster. With C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills as the only healthy quarterbacks on the roster, Rypien could be a candidate to join Houston's practice squad and serve as the team's emergency third-string quarterback.

The Ravens waived Smith on Saturday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Smith signed with the Ravens in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland. The local wide receiver played in the final two preseason games for the Ravens, receiving three targets but catching none of them. Smith will now be subject to waivers through Monday, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any organization's 53-man roster or practice squad.
