  • Jacardia Wright: Placed on practice squad IR

The Seahawks placed Wright (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Wright may have picked up the injury during the Seahawks' 44-13 win over the Saints on Sunday, when he played eight snaps and logged five carries for 20 yards. The move makes room on the practice squad for Khalil Herbert, who could be elevated to the active roster for Thursday's game against the Cardinals if Zach Charbonnet (foot) is not cleared to play.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | ATL

Khalil Herbert: Signs with Seattle's practice squad

The Seahawks signed Herbert to the practice squad Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Herbert's addition to the practice squad gives the Seahawks additional depth at running back, which could come in handy if Zach Charbonnet (foot) is unable to play in Thursday's game against the Cardinals. Herbert split his time last season between the Bears and Bengals, and finished with 36 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown, and 10 catches (on 11 targets) for 25 yards across 14 regular-season games.

  • Jerrick Reed II SAF | ARI

Jerrick Reed: Let go by Seattle

The Seahawks waived Reed on Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Reed started the season on the Seahawks' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was elevated for Week 3 against the Saints, when he played 22 snaps (six on defense, 16 on special teams) and finished with two solo tackles. Reed has mostly served in a special-teams role since being selected by Seattle in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he'll look to join a team in need of his services assuming he clears waivers. Reed's removal from the Seahawks' active roster makes room for wide receiver Cody White.

  • Cody White WR | LV

Seahawks' Cody White: Back with Hawks' active roster

The Seahawks signed White from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

White has bounced back and forth between the Seahawks' practice squad and active roster, and Tuesday marked the second time in a week that he was signed to the 53-man roster. He played 11 snaps (five on offense, six on special teams) in the Seahawks' Week 1 loss to the 49ers and finished with 59 kick return yards on two attempts. White could serve in a kick return role alongside George Holani or Dareke Young now that he's back on the active roster.

  • Jets' Jarvis Brownlee: Traded to Gang Green

The Titans traded Brownlee (ankle) to the Jets on Tuesday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

The move will also include late-round pick swaps for the 2026 NFL Draft. Brownlee was the Titans' starting corner in each of the first two games of the season and logged 17 tackles (11 solo) and one pass defense. He suffered an ankle injury during the Titans' Week 2 loss to the Rams, and given his injury and the time it takes to acclimate to a new defense, he's facing an uphill battle to play in Monday's AFC East clash against the Dolphins. When healthy, the 2024 fifth-rounder will serve in a rotational role at outside corner behind Brandon Stephens and Sauce Gardner (head).

  • Mike Hilton CB | IND

Mike Hilton: Joins Colts' practice squad

The Colts signed Hilton to the practice squad Tuesday.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com initially reported Monday that Hilton was set to sign with the Colts' 53-man roster, but the veteran corner will start out with the practice squad instead. Even so, Hilton should be elevated to the Colts' active roster for Week 4 against the Rams, as Kenny Moore is expected to be sidelined for multiple games due to a calf injury that he suffered during Sunday's 41-20 win over the Titans. Hilton logged 73 tackles (50 solo) and five pass defenses (one interception) across 16 regular-season games for the Bengals in 2024.

  • C.J. Brewer DT | TB

Buccaneers' C.J. Brewer: Signed to Bucs' active roster

The Buccaneers signed Brewer from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Brewer was signed to the Bucs' practice squad in late August after failing to make the team's 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He wasn't elevated to the active roster for the first three games of the regular season, but his addition gives Tampa Bay more depth on the defensive line following injuries to Logan Hall (groin) and Calijah Kancey (pectoral), the latter of whom is on injured reserve and will miss the rest of the regular season. Brewer logged 12 tackles (seven solo), including 2.0 sacks, and two pass defenses across 12 regular-season games for the Buccaneers in 2024.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Cardinals' James Conner: Officially sent to injured reserve

The Cardinals placed Conner (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday.

It's merely a procedural move, as Conner has already been ruled out for the season after he was injured in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Conner's season is cut short after rushing 32 times for 95 yards and one touchdown. He added eight catches for 38 yards and an additional score as a receiver. With Conner done for the year, the Cardinals are set to roll with Trey Benson as their No. 1 RB, with Emari Demercado as depth in the backfield.

  • Younghoe Koo K | NYJ

Younghoe Koo: Signed to Giants' practice squad

The Giants signed Koo to the practice squad Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Koo was released by the Falcons on Friday after going 2-for-3 in Week 1 against the Buccaneers before not playing Week 2 against the Vikings. He'll get another opportunity with the Giants and could be elevated to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Chargers if Graham Gano (groin) is unable to play.

  • C.J. Gardner-Johnson: Let go by Houston

The Texans released Gardner-Johnson on Tuesday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

The move comes despite Gardner-Johnson playing at least 94 percent of the Texans' defensive snaps in each of the first three games of the regular season, during which he accumulated 15 tackles (11 solo). Gardner-Johnson will explore his next options and should garner interest from teams looking to solidify their depth at safety. M.J. Stewart is a candidate to start at safety alongside Calen Bullock following Gardner-Johnson's release.
