Prysock suffered a shoulder injury and will not return to Thursday's preseason matchup with the Raiders, Noah Furtado of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The cornerback recorded one solo tackle before exiting. Prysock was selected by the 49ers in the fourth round of April's draft and is competing for a depth role on defense.

Dimukeje (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the 49ers on Thursday.

The linebacker signed with San Francisco on Aug. 17 and appeared to be healthy again after missing the end of the 2025 campaign with a knee issue. It's unclear if this injury is related. Dimukeje would need to reach an injury settlement with the 49ers to have a chance to play in 2026.

Joyner signed with the 49ers on Thursday.

The defensive end joined Las Vegas as an undrafted free agent in May 2025, but he was cut at the end of training camp. Now, the Minnesota product gets another shot with an NFL team. Joyner recorded 66 tackles, including 14.5 sacks, across five seasons with the Golden Gophers.

Sanchez signed an extension through 2028 with the Colts on Thursday, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.

Sanchez is entering his 10th season as the Colts' primary punter and kickoff specialist. He enjoyed a career season in 2025, landing 50 percent of his punts inside the 20 and recording a 44.7-yard net average, the second-best mark in the league.

Scott signed with the Lions on Thursday.

The cornerback missed the 2025 season with an undisclosed injury and was not tendered by the Chiefs once the campaign ended. Now that he's healthy again, Scott will try to fight for a roster spot in Detroit. The sixth-round pick of the Cowboys in 2023 has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game.

Turner (back) was placed on injured reserve by the Lions on Thursday.

The defensive end suffered a back injury July 29 and did not return at any point during training camp. Turner will now likely have to miss the 2026 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team. The former Cowboy missed the 2025 campaign due to a rib injury.

Marshall (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Jaguars on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The cornerback was waived with an injury designation last weekend before reverting to IR on Monday. Marshall can now play in 2026 if he's healthy enough and can find another opportunity.

Ester (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Dolphins on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The offensive guard was waived/injured Aug. 21 and then reverted to IR a day later. Now that he's reached an injury settlement with Miami, he has a chance to play in 2026 if he can find another opportunity.

Brown isn't in uniform for Thursday's preseason game in Cleveland, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Brown thus won't see any game action during this exhibition season. He's expected to serve as the top target for QB Drake Maye in 2026, considering the key asset (a 2028 first-round pick) sent to Philadelphia to gain his services. In seven campaigns as a pro, Brown has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards six times while racking up 58 total TDs in 105 regular-season contests.

Stribling (shoulder) won't suit up for Thursday's preseason contest at Las Vegas, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.

Stribling seemingly came out of preseason Week 2 action with a minor shoulder injury, but he was able to mix back into drills as of Sunday while wearing a non-contact jersey. Considering he showed out in the 49ers' first two exhibitions with a combined 11 catches for 109 yards, the team will rest him along with other key members of the receiving corps.
