  • Jordyn Brooks LB | MIA

Dolphins' Jordyn Brooks: Dominant in loss

Brooks recorded eight tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Miami's loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Brooks finished second on the team in tackles behind Tyrel Dodson's nine and also recorded one of Miami's three sacks of Drake Maye. Brooks has been one the team's few bright spots across the first two games of the season as he's already racked up 22 tackles (nine solo) and will look to add to his totals during the team's Week 3 matchup versus the Bills.

  • T.J. Watt OLB | PIT

Steelers' T.J. Watt: Still looking for first sack

Watt recorded four tackles (two solo) in the Steelers' loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

Watt is still looking for his first sack of 2025, as two games is his longest sack-less drought to begin a season since Watt entered the league in 2017. The Pittsburgh defense has uncharacteristically hemorrhaged points to begin the season, and Watt has nine tackles (five solo), two QB hits and one pass breakup across two contests.

  • Browns' Carson Schwesinger: Five tackles in defeat

Schwesinger recorded five tackles (two solo) in the Browns' loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

Through his first two career NFL games, the second-round rookie linebacker has logged 13 tackles (five solo), including one TFL, and one QB hit on 97 percent of the Browns' defensive snaps. Schwesinger should see plenty of action in the middle of the field against the Packers in Week 3.

  • Cardinals' Calais Campbell: Pair of sacks in Week 2 win

Campbell recorded five tackles (four solo), including 2.0 sacks, in the Cardinals' win over the Panthers on Sunday.

The 39-year-old Campbell inked a one-year deal to return to Arizona earlier in the offseason, and he made his presence felt against Carolina. Both of Campbell's sacks came in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory, and his second essentially ended the game on fourth down with 33 seconds to play. Campbell has 10 tackles (seven solo), including the pair of sacks, on 44 percent of the Cardinals' defensive snaps through two games.

  • Ed Oliver DT | BUF

Bills' Ed Oliver: Not expected to play

Oliver (ankle) is unlikely to play in Buffalo's matchup versus the Dolphins on Thursday, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Oliver missed last week's win over the Jets with his ankle injury and is now trending toward missing a second straight game. If he ends up being unable to play, Deone Walker and T.J. Sanders likely would see increased playing time at defensive tackle alongside DaQuan Jones.

  • Jalen Thompson DB | DAL

Cardinals' Jalen Thompson: Leads team in tackles in win

Thompson recorded 10 tackles (six solo) in the Cardinals' win over the Panthers on Sunday.

Thompson's 10 tackles paced the team in the victory, as he played all 85 defensive snaps. Through two games to begin the season, Thompson has racked up 18 tackles (10 solo) and one pass breakup on 100 percent of Arizona's defensive snaps.

  • Budda Baker S | ARI

Cardinals' Budda Baker: Records eight tackles in win

Baker recorded eight tackles (four solo) in the Cardinals' win over the Panthers on Sunday.

Baker played all 85 defensive snaps against Carolina and finished tied for second on the team in tackles in the victory. On the season, the veteran safety has logged 18 tackles (nine solo) and one pass breakup through two contests.

  • Broncos' Patrick Surtain: Leads team in tackles in loss

Surtain recorded 11 tackles (nine solo) and one pass breakup in the Broncos' loss to the Colts on Sunday.

After he failed to record a tackle in the Broncos' Week 1 win over the Titans, Surtain's 11 tackles against Indianapolis paced the team. Surtain appeared to injure his ankle against the Colts, but he missed just one defensive snap. Surtain will do battle with the Chargers' wideout trio of Ladd McConkey, Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston in Week 3.

  • Gunnar Helm TE | TEN

Titans' Gunnar Helm: Makes two grabs

Helm recorded two receptions on two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 33-19 loss to the Rams.

Helm played a comparable role in the Tennessee offense relative to Week 1, playing just over one-third of the snaps. He was also targeted twice again, both in short areas of the field. Helm is still prioritized behind Chig Okonkwo in the offense, but his role could grow as the season progresses.

  • Talanoa Hufanga SAF | DEN

Broncos' Talanoa Hufanga: Double-digit tackles in loss

Hufanga recorded 10 tackles (five solo) in Denver's loss to the Colts on Sunday.

Hufanga played 92 percent of the Broncos' defensive snaps against Indianapolis and finished with double-digit tackles for the second straight game to open the season. After missing most of last season (seven games played in 2024), Hufanga has racked up 21 tackles (12 solo) and one forced fumble through two games to begin the 2025 campaign.
