  • Alex Anzalone MLB | TB

Lions' Alex Anzalone: Being evaluated for concussion

Anzalone (head) is being evaluated for a concussion during Thursday's contest against the Vikings.

Anzalone will not be eligible to return to Thursday's divisional matchup if he is diagnosed with a concussion and placed in the NFL's five-step protocol. Prior to leaving the field to be evaluated late in the third quarter, Anzalone had racked up two tackles (one solo) including 1.0 sacks.

  • Mike Hughes CB | ATL

Falcons' Mike Hughes: Listed as DNP

Hughes (ankle) is listed as a non-participant on Thursday's estimated injury report, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Head coach Raheem Morris has already stated that Hughes is unlikely to be available for Monday's game against the Rams, so it's no surprise to see him listed as a non-participant to begin Week 17 prep. The starting cornerback and kick returner looks set to miss a second straight game due to the ankle injury he picked up versus the Buccaneers in Week 15.

  • Malik Heath WR | ATL

Falcons' Malik Heath: Ready to rock

Heath (personal) is not listed on Thursday's estimated injury report, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Heath did not suit up Week 16 versus the Cardinals due to a personal matter, though he had been a healthy scratch for Atlanta's prior two contests. He'll be fully available for Monday's home game against the Rams in the event the coaching staff decides Heath is ready for his Falcons debut after having been claimed by the team off waivers Dec. 8.

  • Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Limited again Thursday

Harrison (heel) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Harrison maintained his activity level from Wednesday's walkthrough, but he now has just one chance remaining during Week 17 prep to prove the health of his lingering heel injury. Friday's practice report will reveal if he carries a designation into Sunday's contest at Cincinnati, but even if he's able to suit up again, he may not be as featured in Arizona's passing attack after handling just a 51 percent snap share en route to one catch (on three targets) for 14 yards this past Sunday against the Falcons in his return from a two-game absence.

  • Vikings' Elijah Williams: Won't return vs. Lions

Williams (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's contest against Detroit.

Williams was initially listed as questionable to return to action Thursday, but his ankle injury is severe enough that he'll spend the remainder of Christmas Day sidelined. The depth defensive lineman's next opportunity to take the field will come Sunday, Jan. 4 versus the Packers in Week 18.

  • Thomas Harper SAF | DET

Lions' Thomas Harper: Evaluated for possible concussion

Harper (head) is being evaluated for a concussion during Thursday's matchup against the Vikings.

Harper won't be able to return to action Thursday if he's officially placed in the NFL's concussion protocol. Jalen Mills and Daniel Thomas will both be candidates to handle expanded roles on defense if Harper is not cleared to retake the field Christmas Day.

  • Myles Price WR | MIN

Vikings' Myles Price: Won't return Thursday

Price (ankle) has been ruled out to return to Thursday's game against the Vikings.

Price suffered an ankle injury during the opening kickoff of Thursday's divisional matchup and will not retake the field. His next opportunity to return to action will come Sunday, Jan. 4 versus the Packers in Week 18.

  • Bhayshul Tuten RB | JAC

Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Limited again Thursday

Tuten (finger) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Tuten was unable to suit up for Jacksonville's win over the Broncos in Week 16 due to a right finger issue that it was reported could sideline him multiple games, so it's encouraging to see him now log a second consecutive limited practice session. If Tuten is able to log at least another limited practice session Friday, it appears he'll have a fair chance to reclaim his No. 2 role behind Travis Etienne as early as Sunday on the road against Indianapolis.

  • Jalen Ramsey CB | PIT

Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: No practice Thursday

Ramsey (illness) did not practice Thursday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Ramsey wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, but he now appears to have come down with an illness. Unless the veteran cornerback is able to retake the practice field in at least a limited capacity Friday, he'll be at risk of being assigned an injury designation for Sunday's road matchup against the Browns.

  • Nahshon Wright CB | NYJ

Bears' Nahshon Wright: Estimated as limited

Wright (hamstring) is listed as a limited participant on Thursday's estimated practice report.

The Bears didn't actually host an on-field practice Thursday, but Wright's estimated activity level mirrors the limited reps he logged Wednesday. As long as the starting cornerback is able to practice in at least a limited capacity again Friday, he'll be a solid candidate to gain clearance in time for Sunday's road matchup against the 49ers.
