Adams suffered a season-ending right knee injury in the Vikings' 13-10 preseason win over the Giants on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Adams signed with Minnesota in late July, and he was looking to build off of a 2025 campaign in which he played a career-high 17 regular-season games with the Raiders, recording 45 total tackles (30 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and a forced fumble. The 30-year-old now will shift his focus to rehabbing his knee injury, and he'll likely be placed on injured reserve with the Vikings in the near future.

Golston logged two solo tackles during Saturday's preseason opener against the Vikings.

Golston played 31 percent of the defensive snaps for the Giants in the contest. The backup weakside linebacker had a solid showing, recording a solo tackle on 11 percent of his defensive snaps. Ward logged two solo tackles during Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants.

Ward played 50 percent of the defensive snaps for the Vikings on Saturday. The strong safety relieved Josh Metellus early on in the game, managing 27 snaps now that he is concussion-free. Ward will likely see similar volume during next Saturday's preseason game against the Ravens.

Washington did not play in the Jaguars' 24-20 preseason win versus the Saints on Saturday.

Washington sat out along with the rest of Jacksonville's key starters, leaving undrafted rookie Trebor Pena to lead the team with three receptions for 58 yards. The 2023 second-round pick is coming off a career-best season, tallying 58 catches (on 96 targets) for 847 yards and five touchdowns across 16 regular-season games last year. Washington also had a strong start to training camp this offseason, and he should be in line for a significant role alongside fellow starting wideouts Brian Thomas and Jakobi Meyers.

Metellus made one tackle assist during Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants.

The starting strong safety played just six defensive snaps in the contest, exiting before the rest of the defensive starters. Metellus' brief appearance meant Jay Ward got to see 50 percent of the defensive snaps, allowing him to further acclimate to his depth position at strong safety ahead of the 2026 season.

McGlothern made one solo tackle during Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants.

McGlothern played 17 defensive snaps for the Vikings in the contest. The cornerback played just short of a third of the game (31 percent), entering after starters Isaiah Rodgers and James Pierre had finished their nights.

Bartholomew saw one target in Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants.

The tight end logged 31 percent of the Vikings' offensive snaps in the contest. Bartholomew was in for 18 offensive plays but was unable to snag a reception. The 23-year-old will likely remain behind Ben Yurosek on the depth chart as the two head into their sophomore seasons with the Vikings.

Monangai is believed to be "fine" after exiting Sunday's practice with a right-knee injury, and he will undergo an MRI, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Monangai walked off the practice field under his own power after he was tackled from behind by defensive tackle Grady Jarrett. Schefter added that initial tests showed that his knee was structurally sound, but the team will confirm the severity of the injury with a subsequent MRI. When healthy, Monangai should combine with starting running back D'Andre Swift to form one of the NFL's best rushing duos for the second year in a row.

Odeyingbo made one tackle assist in Saturday's preseason opener against the Browns.

Odeyingbo played 12 defensive snaps in the contest, good for 18 percent of the Bears' defensive plays. The defensive end has just recovered from an Achilles tendon tear and was quickly shut down alongside the rest of the starters after gaining a glimpse of 2026 NFL action.
