Bethune logged six tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Thursday night's preseason opener against the Titans.

Bethune participated on 39 snaps, logging 29 defensive plays over the course of the night. The linebacker played 48 percent of the 49ers' defensive snaps and sacked Will Levis on the Titans' 20-yard line in the third quarter. Bethune is set to be a second-string interior linebacker for the 2026 campaign behind Dre Greenlaw and Fred Warner.

Schultz did not play in Thursday's 27-7 preseason loss to the Chargers.

Schultz joined several starters on the sidelines Thursday, with Cade Stover leading all tight ends with 26 snaps on offense, followed by Foster Moreau (21). Although C.J. Stroud struggled at times in 2025, Schultz finished the regular season with a career-high 82 catches (on 106 targets) for 777 yards and three touchdowns across 17 games. He should be a favored target of Stroud for the upcoming season, though Schultz's target share could take a slight dip when wide receiver Tank Dell (knee) is back in the fold.

Hill made two tackles (one solo) during Thursday night's preseason opener against the Chargers.

Hill played 42 total snaps Thursday, with 33 defensive reps. The linebacker contributed on exactly 50 percent of the Texans' defensive plays. Hill underwent a procedure to address a wrist ligament injury during the offseason but appears to have fully recovered from the surgery.

Bailey (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Friday night's game against the Falcons, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Bailey exited the contest in the second quarter with an ankle injury. It is unclear how severe the issue is, but even if Bailey could have returned to the contest, the coaching staff likely would not have allowed it. It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old will be ready to play in next Friday's preseason game against the Packers.

Hamilton logged four tackle assists in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Chargers.

Hamilton logged 36 defensive snaps in the contest, taking the field for 56 percent of the Texans' total defensive snaps. The interior lineman had a solid night, managing to get hands on rushers consistently. The 23-year-old will likely need to make a few more splash plays this preseason for a stronger chance to survive cutdown day.

McConkey did not play in the Chargers' 27-7 preseason win over the Texans on Thursday.

McConkey was joined by Tre' Harris and Quentin Johnston on the sidelines while JaQuae Jackson, KeAndre Lambert-Smith and rookie fourth-rounder Brenen Thompson saw the bulk of the wide receiver snaps during Thursday's exhibition game. McConkey saw his production dip from his rookie season to his 2025 sophomore campaign, but his output could rebound in 2026 due to the departure of veteran Keenan Allen and the addition of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.

Rogers logged two tackles (one solo) during Thursday night's preseason opener against the Texans.

Rogers logged 26 total snaps in the contest. The cornerback spent most of his reps defensively, contributing to 38 percent of the team's defensive efforts. The Rutgers product has already progressed further than in his rookie year, when he suffered a season-ending injury during the Chargers' second preseason game of the season against the Saints on Aug. 10.

Reed logged three tackles (two solo) during Thursday night's preseason opener against the Texans.

Reed logged 34 total snaps in the contest. The cornerback played 49 percent of the defensive snaps, logging valuable slot reps in preparation for a scenario in which Tarheeb Still cannot suit up.

Nailor played eight snaps on offense during Thursday's 27-14 preseason loss to the Cardinals. He did not show up in the box score otherwise.

Both Nailor and Tre Tucker, the Raiders' top wideouts on the depth chart, saw minimal work in the first quarter before observing the rest of the game from the sidelines. Nailor inked a three-year, $35 million contract with Las Vegas after playing for Minnesota during the first four years of his NFL career. He's played 17 regular-season games in each of the last two years and finished the 2025 campaign with 29 catches (on 53 targets) for 444 yards and four touchdowns. Nailor will have the opportunity to operate in an expanded role in the Raiders passing attack alongside Tucker and talented tight end Brock Bowers.

Colson made five tackles (three solo) in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Texans.

The linebacker played 22 defensive snaps in the contest, 42 percent of the Chargers' defensive total. Thursday was Colson's first performance back from season-ending shoulder surgery he received during the 2025 preseason. The 2024 third-rounder is set to be a key depth piece for the Chargers' linebacker corps in the upcoming campaign.
