    Pearce popped up on Friday's injury report as a DNP due to a foot injury, but he's been cleared to play Sunday after going through pregame warmups. The rookie first-rounder is on a six-game sack streak, accumulating 7.5 sacks over that span.

    Heath was slated to make his Falcons debut Sunday, but he returned to Atlanta to attend a personal matter, per Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site. Heath's next opportunity to play is Week 17 against the Rams on Monday, Dec. 29.

    Simon (knee) is active for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

    Simon made an early exit from last Sunday's loss to the Texans due to a knee injury. He was able to log a trio of limited practices this week and has been cleared to take the field Sunday. The rookie linebacker logged every defensive snap for Arizona from Week 10 to Week 14 and will likely take on a major role again versus the Falcons.

    Giants' Andrew Thomas: Won't return vs. Minnesota

    Thomas (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Vikings, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

    Thomas will not return to Sunday's game after sustaining a hamstring injury in the first half. Marcus Mbow will remain at left tackle in Thomas' absence.

    Minshew (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Titans.

    Prior to his exit, Minshew completed three of his eight pass attempts for 15 yards and carried once for eight yards. In his absence, Chris Oladokun has taken over as the Chiefs' QB for the remainder of Sunday's contest.

    Michael Jurgens will remain at center for the rest of Sunday's game in Kelly's absence. With Kelly in the league's concussion protocol, he faces an uphill battle to play in the Vikings' Christmas Day game against the Lions.

    Schrader was claimed off waivers by the Broncos on Monday, but he's not going to make his debut with the team Sunday. He's likely to see little, if any, work on a week-to-week basis while RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie are healthy and remain ahead of him on the RB depth chart.

    Cowboys' Ryan Flournoy: Won't return Sunday

    Flournoy (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game versus the Chargers, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

    Flournoy caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown before sustaining a knee injury on a hard hit in the first half. The 26-year-old came into Week 16 with 33 catches (on 47 targets) for 406 yards and three touchdowns over 14 games. In his absence, the Cowboys will have four available wide receivers in CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, KaVontae Turpin and Jonathan Mingo. Flournoy will have a short time to recover before Dallas' Week 16 contest versus the Commanders on Christmas Day.

    Vikings' J.J. McCarthy: Hurts hand Sunday

    McCarthy won't return to Sunday's game against the Giants after sustaining a hand injury.

    McCarthy, who finishes the contest with 108 passing yards and a pick to go along with two carries for 20 yards and a TD, will thus target a potential return to action Thursday against the Lions. In his absence Sunday, Max Brosmer will take over at QB for the Vikings.
