  • Jordan Love QB | GB

Packers' Jordan Love: Won't return to Week 16 contest

Love has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's clash against Chicago due to a concussion.

Love took a helmet-to-helmet hit from a Chicago defender midway through the second quarter and was subsequently evaluated for a concussion. That testing has led to the star quarterback being ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's big NFC North matchup. Love will finish the game having completed eight of 13 passes for 77 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while adding two rushes for seven yards. Malik Willis will be under center for Green Bay for the remainder of Saturday's game.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Catches early TD in win

Smith recorded six receptions on eight targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Commanders.

Smith got off to a fast start, logging three receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown in the first 13 minutes of game time. He found the end zone from five yards away to tally his first score since Week 10. A.J. Brown was otherwise the primary driver of the Eagles' passing game, and Smith has now been held to 50 receiving yards or fewer in five of his last six games.

Packers' Jordan Love: Officially questionable to return

Love (head) is questionable to return to Saturday's Week 16 battle against the Bears.

Love was hurt midway through the second quarter after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit that drew a roughing-the-passer penalty. He spent some time being assessed on the field before heading to the medical tent and then to the locker room. If he's unable to return to action Saturday, Malik Willis would guide Green Bay's offense the rest of the way.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Tallies another touchdown

Goedert recorded three receptions on three targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Commanders.

Goedert took a step back from his involvement in the Eagles' offense relative to the last two games, but he still managed to make a significant impact. His primary contribution came late in the third quarter, when he hauled in a 15-yard touchdown on a long third down. Goedert's target total will likely remain inconsistent moving forward, though he has either 70 receiving yards or a touchdown in three consecutive contests.

  • Jordan Love QB | GB

Packers' Jordan Love: Heads to locker room after big hit

Love (head) went to the locker room after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit in the second quarter of Saturday's Week 16 matchup against Chicago, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Love took a helmet-to-hit from the Bears' Austin Booker that drew a roughing-the-passer penalty. After initially being tended to on the field, Love was able to jog off and head to the medical tent, and he subsequently went to the locker room (presumably for further evaluation). Malik Willis has entered the game to take over at quarterback for the Packers.

  • Packers' Kristian Welch: Questionable to return with ankle

Welch (ankle) is questionable to return to Saturday night's game against the Bears.

Welch exited the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury, and it is unclear if he will be able to return. The weakside linebacker is primarily a special teamer, and if he is unable to return, Ty'Ron Hopper will likely see an increased amount of special-teams snaps.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Solid showing in win

Hurts completed 22 of 30 passes for 185 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Eagles. He added seven rushes for 40 yards.

Hurts had an accurate game as a passer, but he worked primarily in short and intermediate areas of the field. Nevertheless, he managed a 24-yard completion to A.J. Brown and also tallied touchdown passes from five and 15 yards away. Hurts also showed some aggression on the ground, logging his highest rushing total since Week 4. He'll draw a tough Week 17 matchup against the Bills, though he has gotten back on track in recent weeks by tallying multiple scores in four of his last five matchups.

  • Johnny Newton DT | WAS

    Commanders' Jer'Zhan Newton: Possible concussion

Newton (head) exited Saturday's game early and is being evaluated for a possible concussion, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Newton exited with 1:03 remaining in the game, the last play before the Eagles knelt the clock out. The defensive tackle has potentially suffered a concussion, and if he enters the league's concussion protocol, he will need to clear all five steps to be available for the Commanders' Week 17 matchup with the Cowboys.

  • Samuel Cosmi OT | WAS

Commanders' Sam Cosmi: Exits with potential concussion

Cosmi (head) exited Saturday's game against the Eagles and did not return, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Cosmi was unable to return to Saturday's contest after suffering a head injury late in the fourth quarter. The offensive guard's status for Week 17 will depend on his practice participation. The injury to the 26-year-old means the Commanders' offensive line depth gets even thinner, as the team is already without Laremy Tunsil (oblique). Brandon Coleman (shin) also left Saturday's game with an injury.

  • Commanders' Brandon Coleman: Exits with shin injury

Coleman (shin) exited Saturday's game against the Eagles in the fourth quarter and did not return, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Coleman was filling in at left tackle for an absent Laremy Tunsil, and the injury the former suffered seems to be significant. The offensive lineman was unable to return to the game, and his status for Week 17 will largely depend on his ability to practice throughout the week.
