  • Texans' Derek Stingley: Nursing oblique injury

Stingley (oblique) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

Stingley played fewer defensive snaps (55) than normally would have been expected in Week 15, but that could have been partly because of the lopsided nature of the contest. His activity at practice will be worth monitoring as the week continues leading up to Sunday's game versus the Raiders.

  • Tre Harris WR | LAC

Chargers' Tre' Harris: Limited at practice

Harris (hip) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Harris reeled in three of five targets for 49 yards in the team's Week 15 win over the Chiefs, but he may have suffered a hip injury in the process. With Quentin Johnston (groin) and Derius Davis (ankle) still banged up, the Chargers could be thin at wide receiver in Week 16 if Harris is forced to be sidelined. Harris will have two more chances to log a full practice before Sunday's matchup with the Cowboys.

  • E.J. Speed LB | HOU

Texans' E.J. Speed: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Speed (knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

Speed was sidelined in Week 15 versus the Cardinals because of a knee injury, and now he's in danger of missing a second straight game. If he can't get back on the practice field Thursday or Friday, he'll likely miss Sunday's game versus the Raiders.

  • Nick Vannett TE | LAR

Rams' Nick Vannett: Cleared to play TNF

Vannett (oblique) does not carry an injury designation into Thursday's game against the Seahawks, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

An oblique injury limited Vannett's participation in Monday's and Tuesday's walkthrough practices, but the veteran tight end has been cleared to play in Week 16 after logging a full practice Wednesday. He's mostly served on special teams this season and will operate as the Rams' TE4 behind Colby Parkinson, Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen for Thursday night's game.

  • Bud Dupree OLB | LAC

Chargers' Bud Dupree: Limited to open week

Dupree (back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Dupree may have suffered a back injury in the team's 16-13 win over the Chiefs in Week 15, forcing him to be limited to open the week at practice. The linebacker will have two more chances to return to practice prior to Sunday's matchup with the Cowboys.

  • Texans' Sheldon Rankins: Tending to knee injury

Rankins (knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

Rankins played a healthy share of defensive snaps (41) in Week 15 versus the Cardinals, but it seems like he might have hurt his knee somewhere along the way. He'll probably have to return to practice Thursday or Friday to have any chance of suiting up in Week 16 versus the Raiders.

  • Dareke Young WR | LV

Seahawks' Dareke Young: Poised to return Thursday

Young (quadriceps) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and does not carry an injury designation into Thursday night's game against the Rams, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Young was a full participant in practice for the duration of the Seahawks' Week 16 prep. His lack of an injury designation indicates that he'll play in Thursday's NFC West tilt, but he'll have to be activated from injured reserve first. Young has missed the Seahawks' last seven games due to a quad injury that he sustained in Week 7 against the Texans.

  • Cody Simon LB | ARI

Cardinals' Cody Simon: Limited to open week

Simon (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official website reports.

Simon left the team's 40-20 loss to the Texans in Week 15 in the first quarter due to a knee injury, but his ability to participate at practice in any capacity to open the week is a positive sign. The linebacker will have two more chances to log a full session prior to Sunday's game against the Falcons.

  • Ian Thomas TE | LV

Raiders' Ian Thomas: Overcomes calf issue

Thomas (calf) logged a full practice Wednesday.

Thomas was sidelined for the Raiders' Week 15 game against the Eagles. After logging a full session, he should be ready to return Sunday against the Texans. While Thomas has logged around a 50 percent offensive snap rate in his last few healthy games, he has not reached 40 receiving yards in a game this season and has surpassed 20 yards only once.

  • Texans' Kamari Lassiter: Still dealing with foot injury

Lassiter (foot) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

Lassiter has played through the problem with his foot for the past few weeks, so it's likely Houston is just being cautious with its ascendent talent at cornerback. He'll get two more chances to practice before the Texans release their final practice report of the week Friday.
