Elijah Higgins TE | ARI
Cardinals' Elijah Higgins: Active in Week 15
Higgins (illness) is active for Sunday's game at Houston.
Higgins was held out of Friday's practice due to an illness that left him questionable for Week 15 action. Now that he's confirmed to be active, he'll be working in a passing game without the services of WRs Marvin Harrison (heel, inactive), Greg Dortch (chest, IR) and Xavier Weaver (hamstring, inactive), among others, for a second consecutive contest. In the first such outing last Sunday against the Rams, Higgins received a season-high 66 percent snap share but couldn't haul in his only target, while top TE Trey McBride (5-58-0 on nine targets) and WR Michael Wilson (11-142-2 on 16 targets) dominated the attention of QB Jacoby Brissett.

Cooper Rush QB | BAL
Ravens' Cooper Rush: Emergency QB for Week 15
Rush (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Ravens' emergency third quarterback against the Bengals on Sunday.
As the emergency third quarterback, Rush is prohibited from playing Sunday unless both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley were to leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection. Rush last played in Week 6 against the Rams, which coincided with Jackson's three-game absence due to a hamstring injury.

Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Bills' Joshua Palmer: Active versus Patriots
Palmer (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Palmer, who has missed the Bills' last two games, was limited in practice this week before approaching the contest listed as questionable. In his return to action Sunday, he'll rejoin a wideout corps that also includes Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Tyrell Shavers and Brandin Cooks. In Buffalo's Week 14 win over the Bengals, the team's TEs were targeted a combined 13 times, while none of the WRs saw more than three targets. Prior to his injury, Palmer caught two passes in each of his previous five contests, a rate of production that limits his fantasy lineup viability to deeper formats.

Deebo Samuel WR | WAS
Commanders' Deebo Samuel: Suiting up Sunday
Samuel (illness) is active for Sunday's game at the Giants.
Samuel didn't practice Friday due to an illness and ultimately was deemed questionable for Week 15 action. His lack of inclusion on the Commanders' list of inactives Sunday has cleared him to resume his typical role, which has meant 70-plus percent of the offensive snaps in nine of his 12 appearances this season. Having said that, with top TE Zach Ertz out for the rest of the campaign due to an ACL tear that he suffered last Sunday in Minnesota, Samuel may experience a slight uptick in his usual 6.3 touches per game moving forward.

Quentin Johnston WR | LAC
Chargers' Quentin Johnston: Not available Sunday
Johnston (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Johnston was a late addition to the Chargers' Week 15 injury report, with Los Angeles listing him as questionable for Sunday's contest after he was unexpectedly a limited participant during Friday's practice. The third-year wideout ultimately won't be able to give it a go Sunday, resulting in him missing his second game of the season. With Johnston sidelined, the Chargers could have more reps and targets available for Keenan Allen and Tre' Harris behind No. 1 wideout Ladd McConkey.

Rashod Bateman WR | BAL
Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Inactive Sunday
Bateman (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Bateman was added to the Ravens' Week 15 injury report after being a limited participant in Thursday's practice and then missing Friday's session before heading into the weekend listed as questionable for Sunday's contest. In his absence, DeAndre Hopkins, Tylan Wallace, Devontez Walker and LaJohntay Wester are candidates to log increased snaps behind top wide receiver Zay Flowers.

Maxwell Hairston CB | BUF
Bills' Maxwell Hairston: Getting start Sunday
Hairston will be one of Buffalo's starting cornerbacks in Week 15 versus New England as a result of Christian Benford missing the game due to a toe injury, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
This will be Hairston's second career start -- he previously got the nod in Week 10 against Miami, when he logged one tackle and an interception while Benford was sidelined due to a groin issue. The rookie has, however, gotten plenty of reps since making his NFL debut in Week 8, as he has typically logged a defensive snap share of around 50 percent. The conditions for Sunday's contest include frigid temperatures and possible snow, so it wouldn't be surprising if both squads go to the run game more often than usual.

Emari Demercado RB | KC
Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Returning to action Sunday
Demercado (ankle) is listed as active Sunday at Houston.
Demercado thus is in line for his first game action since he initially suffered a high-ankle sprain during Week 11 at San Francisco. He'll join healthy backfield mates Bam Knight and Michael Carter in Week 15. In the four games in which all three have received offensive snaps this season, Demercado has totaled 18 touches to Knight's 37 and Carter's 44, which would seem to indicate Demercado will be third in the pecking order for reps, especially given that he didn't log a full practice in advance of his return.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. RB | JAC
Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Inactive in Week 15
Rodriguez (groin) is listed as inactive Sunday at the Giants.
After being held out of Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury, Rodriguez capped Week 15 prep with back-to-back limited sessions, leaving him questionable for Sunday's game. With his lack of availability now confirmed, Rodriguez's workload from the last five contests (55 touches) likely will be split between Jacory Croskey-Merritt (45 during that span) and Jeremy McNichols (22), while Chase Edmonds also is on hand. Rodriguez's next chance to suit up is next Saturday against the Eagles.
