  • Browns' Adin Huntington: Not playing Week 15

Huntington (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Huntington will miss a third consecutive game due to a quadriceps injury, so Sam Kamara and Mike Hall will continue to serve as the Browns' rotational options at defensive tackle behind Shelby Harris and rookie first-rounder Mason Graham (ribs). Huntington's next chance to play is Week 16 against the Bills on Sunday, Dec. 21.

  • Spencer Brown OT | BUF

Bills' Spencer Brown: Set to start Sunday

Brown (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Brown missed consecutive games after suffering a shoulder injury in the Bills' Week 12 loss to the Texans on Thursday Night Football. The right tackle logged full participation in Friday's practice, his first time achieving the mark since the injury, and is set to start opposite Dion Dawkins in Sunday's divisional showdown.

  • Jeremy Ruckert TE | NYJ

Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: Prepared for increased role

Ruckert is set to have a bigger role in Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

In the absence of Mason Taylor (neck), Ruckert is set to take on a bigger role, likely in both the pass and run game. The tight end will likely be utilized as an additional blocker to protect Brady Cook and to open up holes for Breece Hall, but his ability in the receiving game cannot be understated. Ruckert has 18 receptions for 150 yards and one touchdown on 21 targets this season as the backup to Mason Taylor. Being thrust into the No. 1 tight end role means the 2022 third-rounder could see a further increased target share in Sunday's contest as well.

  • Panthers' Claudin Cherelus: Clears concussion protocol

Cherelus (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Saints.

Cherelus suffered a concussion in Week 12 against the 49ers that caused him to miss Week 13. The 26-year-old opened the week as a limited participant after having a chance to rest over the Panthers' bye week. The third-year pro was on track to return after two straight full practices and has now officially cleared the NFL's concussion protocol. Cherelus will continue to handle rotational duties at interior linebacker in his return.

  • Braden Smith OT | HOU

Colts' Braden Smith: Ruled out for Sunday

Smith (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Smith sustained a concussion in the Colts' Week 14 loss to the Jaguars and was unable to clear the league's five-step protocol in time for Sunday's contest. Jalen Travis will likely start at right tackle in Smith's place against a fearsome Seahawks defensive front.

  • Caleb Johnson LB | MIA

Dolphins' Caleb Johnson: Moved to IR

The Dolphins placed Johnson (shoulder) on injured reserve Friday.

Johnson suffered a shoulder injury in the Dolphins' Week 14 game against the Jets and was unable to return to the game. The linebacker was also unable to practice Thursday with a shoulder injury deemed severe enough to move him to injured reserve. The 27-year-old will be unable to return for the rest of the regular season, with his only hope of suiting up again being if the Dolphins can make a wild-card push. In Johnson's absence, K.J. Britt and Willie Gay will likely see more defensive reps at strongside linebacker.

  • Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Ruled out Week 15

Taylor-Demerson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Taylor-Demerson is slated to miss a fifth consecutive game due to an ankle injury, and there doesn't appear to be a clear timeline for his return, given his absence from practice since sustaining the injury. Taylor-Demerson's next chance to play is Week 16 against the Falcons on Sunday, Dec. 21, though he's unlikely to suit up for that game unless he's cleared to practice in at least a limited capacity.

  • Nic Jones CB | NYG

Giants' Nic Jones: Undergoes shoulder surgery

Jones (shoulder) underwent season-ending shoulder surgery Friday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Jones has not missed a game this season and is third on the Giants in special-teams snaps with 192 (19 defensive snaps). Duggan also reported that the team hopes to have the 24-year-old impending free agent available in time for the offseason program.

  • Jamal Adams S | LV

Raiders' Jamal Adams: Suiting up Sunday

Adams (knee) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Adams upgraded to a full participant in Friday's practice and is all set to suit up for Sunday's game. Since the Raiders' Week 8 bye, the weakside linebacker has accumulated 13 tackles, including eight solo tackles, on 144 defensive snaps. In that time frame, the 30-year-old has hovered between a 20 and 50 percent defensive snap share, and his usage this week will likely fit into that category once again.

  • Josh Myers C | NYJ

Jets' Josh Myers: Inks two-year extension

Myers and the Jets agreed to a two-year, $11 million contract extension Friday, Rich Cimini of ESPN reports.

Myers was brought in by the Jets in March on a one-year contract to initially serve as the backup center to Joe Tippmann. However, Myers was thrust into the starting role at center after Alijah Vera-Tucker suffered a season-ending triceps injury in early September, which led to Tippmann being shifted over to right guard. Per Cimini, Myers ranks ninth among centers in ESPN's pass-block win rate and 27th in run-block win rate.
