The Cardinals placed Knight (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday, Zach Gershman of the team's official site reports.

Knight played just one snap in Sunday's 40-20 loss to the Texans before exiting the contest with a left ankle sprain. While follow-up tests revealed no structural damage, his sprain is significant enough to sideline him for the final three games of the season. With Knight joining James Conner (foot) and Trey Benson (knee) on injured reserve, Arizona will be left with Michael Carter and Emari Demercado as its primary backfield options. Knight will be a restricted free agent this offseason after he gained 269 yards on 82 carries (3.3 YPC) and four touchdowns to go with 160 yards and another score on 22 catches over 12 appearances for Arizona.

Smith gained one yard on two carries during Sunday's 16-13 loss to Chargers.

Smith once again played third wheel to Kareem Hunt (30 snaps) and Isiah Pacheco (28 snaps) in the backfield, logging just four snaps in a game that saw Kansas City get eliminated from playoff contention and lose star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a torn ACL. With little left to play for the rest of the way, it's not impossible that Smith could see a few more touches down the stretch if the coaching staff wants to see what it has in its 2025 seventh-round selection, but Hunt and Pacheco should continue to lead the way.

The Chargers waived Freeman from the practice squad Tuesday.

The running back was not elevated for a game in his 15-day tenure on the practice squad. In a corresponding move, the Chargers signed safety Marcus Maye to the practice squad. Freeman will now be placed on waivers and will become a free agent if he clears.

Smith-Schuster didn't haul in his lone target during Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Chargers.

Smith-Schuster saw an increase in his snap share Sunday, with Hollywood Brown (personal) out of commission and Tyquan Thornton leaving with a possible concussion. Even so, the veteran wideout wasn't a factor in the offense, and now starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes is done for the year due to a torn ACL. There's little to like about Smith-Schuster's fantasy profile the rest of the way in 2025.

The Patriots signed Muma to the active roster Tuesday.

Muma was signed off the Colts' practice squad. The linebacker played in five games for the team, logging five tackles, including three solo tackles, over the 32 defensive snaps he was on the field. The signing will stabilize the depth in the Patriots' linebacker room caused by the absence of Robert Spillane (foot).

Mumpfield failed to haul in his lone target while playing 32 of the Rams' 72 snaps on offense in Sunday's 41-34 win over the Lions.

Mumpfield's 44 percent snap share placed him third among Rams wideouts behind Puka Nacua (56 percent) and Davante Adams (46 percent). Nacua's snap count was suppressed due to a mid-game bout with cramps, while Adams aggravated a hamstring strain during the contest. With Adams' availability for Thursday's game against the Seahawks seemingly in jeopardy, Mumpfield would likely stand to be one of the main beneficiaries from a playing-time standpoint if the six-time Pro Bowler is unable to play. However, the Rams are also likely to lean heavily on two, or even three, tight-end packages like they did this past Sunday, when Colby Parkinson, Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen all handled snap shares exceeding 70 percent. With that in mind, Mumpfield may not shape up as an especially enticing fantasy option.

Head coach Matt LaFleur said that Jacobs played through a knee injury in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Broncos and wouldn't have participated Tuesday if the Packers had held a traditional practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Since missing a Week 12 win over the Vikings, Jacobs has suited up for each of Green Bay's last three games but has been listed on the injury report each time. The running back's condition doesn't seem to have improved after LaFleur said that he absorbed another big hit to the knee on a short-yardage carry early in Sunday's loss to Denver. The coach noted that Jacobs is "as tough as they come" and will have a chance to play against the Bears in Chicago on Saturday with the NFC North lead on the line, but at the very least, the 27-year-old is likely to have his practice activity heavily managed once again.

The Jaguars designated McLeod (lower body) for return from injured reserve Tuesday.

The move opens McLeod's 21-day practice window, giving him a maximum of three weeks of practice before the team needs to decide whether to activate McLeod. The sixth-round rookie has yet to appear in a game this season after he was injured over the summer.

The Jaguars signed Deejay Dallas to the active roster Tuesday.

Dallas was signed off the Panthers' practice squad and will be the No. 4 running back for the Jaguars going into Week 16. The running back played in three games for the Panthers, totalling 16 offensive snaps with one rush attempt for zero yards. If Bhayshul Tuten (finger) is unable to suit up, Dallas will join LeQuint Allen as a rotational backup to starter Travis Etienne.

The Jaguars placed Kiser (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.

The reserve linebacker and special-teamer has logged 14 tackles (five solo) across 14 appearances this season. He's played 43 snaps on defense and another 193 on kick-coverage units. Kiser will be required to miss the final three games of the regular season and won't be eligible to return until the second round of the playoffs should Jacksonville make it that far.
