  • Ty Chandler RB | NO

Vikings' Ty Chandler: Continues to practice

Chandler (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Chandler continues to string full practice sessions together as he works his way back from a knee injury he sustained in Week 1 against the Bears. If the running back is activated from injured reserve for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, he'll likely rotate in behind the top duo of Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones (shoulder).

  • Giants' Gunner Olszewski: Upgrades to limited practice

Olszewski (concussion) was limited in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Olszewski couldn't practice in any capacity Wednesday, so his limited activity level represents a tangible step in the right direction. Still, Olszewski will need to gain full clearance from the NFL's concussion protocol in order to return to the lineup, meaning his status for Sunday's game against the Commanders could come down to the wire. For any chance of being cleared for Week 15, Olszewski will likely need to practice in full Friday.

  • Beaux Collins WR | NYG

Giants' Beaux Collins: Limited on Thursday

Collins (neck) was limited in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins practiced in full after being designated to return from IR on Wednesday, so it's possible that Thursday's downgrade in activity level represents a setback in his recovery. The depth wideout hasn't played since Week 9 due to a neck injury.

  • Marcedes Lewis TE | DEN

    Marcedes Lewis: Waived by Denver

The Broncos waived Lewis on Thursday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

After being signed to the active roster Dec. 6 and playing 28 offensive snaps in the Week 14 win over the Raiders, the Broncos have opted to cut ties with the 41-year-old Lewis. The jettisoning of Lewis may be a signal Nate Adkins (knee) is close to making a return. Lewis will now go on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, the 2006 first-round pick will once again be a free agent.

  • Woody Marks RB | HOU

Texans' Woody Marks: Limited in practice Thursday

Marks (knee) returned to a limited practice Thursday.

Marks and fellow RB Nick Chubb (ribs) both logged 'DNPs' on Wednesday. Chubb also missed Thursday's session, which clouds his availability for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, while Marks' limited practice has him trending in the right direction for the contest. In any case, Friday's final injury report will reveal whether Chubb has a chance to play this weekend, as well Marks' official Week 15 game status.

  • Xavier Weaver WR | ARI

Cardinals' Xavier Weaver: Still not practicing

Weaver (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Weaver hasn't practiced since last Thursday, when he initially popped up as limited due to a hamstring injury. He, along with top WR Marvin Harrison (heel), hasn't been able to mix into drills so far this week, seemingly putting both players on the outside looking in to play Sunday at Houston. Currently, Michael Wilson and Andre Baccellia are the only healthy options at the position on the Cardinals' active roster, while Jalen Brooks, Trent Sherfield, Tejhaun Palmer, Bryson Green and Steven Sims are possible practice-squad elevations for Week 15 action.

  • Ryan Miller WR | NYG

Giants' Ryan Miller: Claimed by New York

The Giants claimed Miller off waivers Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Miller was waived by the Buccaneers on Wednesday after playing in all 13 games for the franchise this season. The wide receiver plays the majority of his snaps with the special-teams unit and was likely waived due to the Buccaneers' receiving room getting healthier. With Gunner Olszewski (concussion) questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Miller may be thrust into a role as the Giants' No. 5 wide receiver in his first game with the team.

  • Patriots' Robert Spillane: Logs limited practice

Spillane (foot) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Spillane was not listed on Wednesday's injury report, so it's possible his foot injury occurred in practice. If Spillane ends up missing Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bills, Marte Mapu will figure to handle an expanded role on defense.

  • Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Another limited showing

Demercado (ankle) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Demercado has been listed as limited on four of the Cardinals' last five injury reports as he continues his recovery from the high-ankle sprain that has sidelined him the last three games. In the end, Friday's practice report will reveal if Demercado has a chance to rejoin Arizona's backfield Sunday at Houston, but for the time being, Bam Knight and Michael Carter are in line to continue sharing the load this weekend.

  • Nate Wiggins CB | BAL

Ravens' Nate Wiggins: Upgrades to full participation

Wiggins (foot) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Wiggins hurt his foot in the Ravens' Week 13 loss to the Bengals, but he will be good to go for Sunday's rematch with the division rival as Baltimore attempts to remain in contention for the AFC North title. The outside cornerback has logged 94 percent of defensive snaps or higher since Week 6, except for Week 13, where he exited early. The 2024 first-rounder will look to get back to his usual workload in Sunday's contest.
