Coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that McCarthy doesn't have concussion symptoms anymore and should emerge from the protocol for head injuries if he practices fully Wednesday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

If that occurs, McCarthy will resume starting duties Week 14 against the Commanders after sitting out this past Sunday's loss at Seattle, when undrafted rookie Max Brosmer got the nod and stumbled through a 26-0 shutout loss. McCarthy didn't fair much better in his four appearances prior to sitting out Week 13, completing 62 of 118 passes (52.5 percent) for 628 yards, four touchdowns and seven interceptions and taking 16 carries for 70 yards and one TD during that span.

Head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters Monday that Jobe (head) has cleared concussion protocol, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

The Alabama product was checked for a possible concussion after taking a blow to the head in the fourth quarter of the Week 13 win over the Vikings, but he's since cleared protocol. Now fully healthy, Jobe will likely remain one of Seattle's top reserve boundary corners in the Week 14 matchup against the Falcons.

Head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters Monday that it's "looking positive" for Love (hamstring) to return from injured reserve this week, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Macdonald noted that Love's return from IR is not certain, but the goal is for the talented safety to return for Sunday's matchup against the Falcons. The 27-year-old has not played since the Seahawks' Week 4 win over the Cardinals due to a hamstring injury. Love has yet to have his 21-day practice window opened, and that would be the next step in facilitating his return.

Queen is believed to have suffered a lower-back bruise in Sunday's 26-7 loss to the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Queen's injury was initially considered a hip issue, but it's now been clarified to be a lower-back injury. The 26-year-old is set to undergo more testing, though the team is hopeful that it's not a long-term concern. Queen's practice participation throughout the week will likely provide the best indication of whether he can suit up for the Week 14 matchup against the Ravens.

The Eagles signed Marshall to their practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The 2021 second-round pick from LSU was dropped from the Eagles' practice squad in early November, but it now appears the team has had a change of heart. Marshall's last in-game action came with the Raiders in 2024, when he caught three of six targets for 41 yards across seven contests.

The Bengals signed Davis off their practice squad Monday.

The Utah State product has played 79 defensive snaps over Cincinnati's last two games, recording six total tackles and one forced fumble. Now on the Bengals' active roster, Davis is expected to operate as one of the team's top boundary cornerbacks for the remainder of the season.

Asamoah (knee) was placed on the injured reserve list Monday.

The fourth-year pro from Oklahoma sustained a knee injury in the Bengals' Week 13 win over the Ravens, and it now appears serious enough to land him on IR. Asamoah has appeared in just four games for Cincinnati this season, failing to record a stat across 58 special-teams snaps. He'll now be forced to miss at least the team's next four games, with his earliest possible return coming in the Week 18 matchup against the Browns.

Juszczyk will have further evaluation on his ribs injury once the team returns to Santa Clara, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that initial tests revealed no broken ribs, but Juszczyk will still undergo further testing to determine the extent of his injury. The 49ers have a Week 14 bye, which could allow the 34-year-old fullback enough time to recover ahead of the team's Week 15 matchup against the Titans.

Reed needs surgery after breaking a metal plate in his forearm during Sunday's 20-16 win over the Colts, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Reed had a metal plate in his forearm from his time at Penn State, and it was damaged while trying to bring down Jonathan Taylor in the Week 13 win. The rookie safety had just earned a starting spot after recording 12 total tackles and one fumble recovery in the Week 12 victory over the Bills. It's currently unclear how long Reed will be sidelined for, but it's unlikely that he's able to return for the Week 14 matchup against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Freiermuth wasn't targeted during Sunday's 26-7 loss to Buffalo.

Freiermuth played just 40 percent of the team's offensive snaps Sunday, which ranked third among the team's tight ends. Although he had recorded double-digit receiving yards in each of his last seven appearances, he was held without a target for just the second time this season in Sunday's Week 13 loss. Across 12 games this season, Freiermuth has secured 26 of 32 targets for 298 yards and four touchdowns.
