The Bears placed Sweat on the active/non-football illness list Tuesday.

Sweat is expected to be back in action within a few days. The defensive end had a career year in 2025, producing 53 tackles (36 solo), including 5.0 sacks, and added five passes defensed as well as three forced fumbles over 17 regular-season games. The 29-year-old is set to pick up where he left off as the starting defensive end for the Bears.

The Packers signed Yassmin to a one-year contract Tuesday.

The Australian from the University of Utah joined the NFL through the International Player Pathway program. He spent time with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2024 before joining the Chargers' practice squad in 2025. Yassmin has yet to appear in an NFL game, and advancement up the Packers' depth chart will be hard to come by due to the team's stellar tight end depth between Tucker Kraft (knee), Luke Musgrave (undisclosed) and Josh Whyle.

Downs (knee) tore his ACL on Tuesday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Downs will be out for the year and will need to wait until 2027 for a potential NFL debut. The edge rusher out of Oklahoma was a strong candidate to make the active roster as a depth addition.

Klein has recovered from his hamstring strain and is all set for training camp, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Klein suffered a hamstring injury during the Texans' OTAs, but the second-round draft pick is back and ready to compete for a role in the team's tight end corps. Klein's primary competition for the No. 2 tight end spot is Foster Moreau and Brevin Jordan, but Cade Stover also has NFL playing experience that could give him the edge if the rookie does not sufficiently stand out in training camp or the preseason.

The Saints placed Tipton (groin) on the active/PUP list Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Tipton suffered a groin injury in January and is likely still suffering from the same issue. The kick and punt returner does not have a return timeline at this point, so it is unclear if he will be able to participate in training camp. If the wide receiver cannot return soon, other skill-position players will have the chance to make their case as better depth players capable of producing on special teams, and Tipton may lose his roster spot.

Rodgers reiterated Tuesday that 2026 will be his final NFL season, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Rodgers said the exact same thing back in May after re-signing with the Steelers but again confirmed it when he reported to training camp Tuesday. "I thought last year might be it," Rodgers said. "And then Mike [McCarthy] got hired, and I talked to the wife and she said, 'You can do one more year.' I said, 'Well, we'll see if it works out.' And then it kind of all came together." Headed into his 22nd season, Rodgers is coming off a 2025 campaign that saw him complete 65.7 percent of his passes for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns versus just seven interceptions over 16 regular-season games. His career 1.4 percent interception rate and 102.2 passer rating are the best in NFL history.

The Jets placed Ossai (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Tuesday, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.

Ossai is working through a minor injury and should not be stranded on the PUP list for too long. The defensive end signed a three-year deal with the Jets in March and is set to start across from 2026 first-rounder David Bailey when the regular season commences.

GM Mickey Loomis said Tuesday that Tyson (undisclosed) passed his conditioning test and is good to go for training camp, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Tyson had his reps managed during the team's offseason program after the rookie wideout had an injury-plagued collegiate career, including a hamstring issue that recurred ahead of the draft, per Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com. He's ready to work now that training camp is slated to begin, however. In his first pro campaign, the 2026 first-rounder has an opportunity to make an immediate fantasy impact as the Saints' WR2 alongside veteran Chris Olave.

The Jets activated Patrick (undisclosed) from the active/PUP list Tuesday.

Patrick was placed on the list Saturday, but the wide receiver has recovered quickly. The 32-year-old is set to be the No. 4 receiver for the Jets in 2026 behind Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell and rookie Omar Cooper, but will also need to contend with rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq (abdomen) for receptions.

Saints GM Mickey Loomis said Tuesday that Olave (illness) is a full-go for training camp, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Olave had been limited all offseason while managing the blood clot issue that forced him to miss the end of the 2025 regular season, but he's been cleared for the start of camp. Loomis also said the 2022 second-round pick is "enthusiastic" about joining his teammates on the field despite his current lack of a long-term contract, Terrell reports. Olave previously stated that he hoped to finalize an extension with New Orleans prior to opening of training camp. Rookie first-round pick Jordyn Tyson (undisclosed) has also been fully cleared for camp after passing his conditioning test, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports, giving quarterback Tyler Shough his full complement of targets.
