  • Anthony Gould WR | IND

Colts' Anthony Gould: Estimated as DNP on Wednesday

Gould (foot) did not participate in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.

Gould has missed the Colts' last two games due to a foot injury he sustained in Week 14 against the Jaguars. He has two more chances to return to practice and give himself a chance to play in Sunday's AFC South rematch against Jacksonville. Ameer Abdullah and Tyler Goodson (ankle) would likely continue to handle return duties on kickoffs and punts if Gould is unable to play Week 17.

  • Cowboys' Quinnen Williams: Could play in Week 17

Williams (concussion) is listed as questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

The Alabama product practiced in a limited fashion throughout the week and must still clear concussion protocol in order to play in the Week 17 divisional matchup. Since being dealt from the Jets to the Cowboys in early November, Williams has recorded 16 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and one interception across five contests. If he's sidelined Thursday, expect Kenny Clark to have an expanded role on Dallas' defensive line.

  • Tyler Booker G | DAL

Cowboys' Tyler Booker: Iffy to play Thursday

Booker (ankle) has been deemed questionable to suit up against the Commanders on Christmas Day, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Booker also dealt with an ankle injury earlier this season, but it's unclear if his current issue is related. The rookie right guard was labeled as limited all three days of practice this week, so his status for Thursday seems to be up in the air. If Booker ends up being unable to play, Hakeem Adeniji may be asked to make a start on the offensive line.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

    Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Limited Wednesday

Godwin (fibula) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Godwin has been dealing with the residual effects of a fibula injury since Week 5, but since his return to action Week 12, he's been able to suit up for each of the Buccaneers' last five games, accumulating a 19-192-1 line on 28 targets during that stretch. His limitations Wednesday likely are related to maintenance, and he'll have two more chances to get back to full before Sunday's contest at Miami.

  • Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Out for Thursday

Overshown (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

The third-year pro from Texas sustained a concussion in the Week 16 loss to the Chargers, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Thursday. Overshown has appeared in six contests since returning from a knee injury in the Week 11 matchup against the Raiders, recording 28 total tackles. While he's out in Week 17, expect Marist Liufau to operate as Dallas' top weakside linebacker.

  • Phil Mafah RB | DAL

Cowboys' Phil Mafah: Won't return Thursday

Mafah (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

The 2025 seventh-round pick from Clemson practiced in a limited fashion throughout the week but won't make his NFL debut in Thursday's divisional matchup. While Mafah remains on the injured reserve list, expect Javonte Williams and Malik Davis to handle Dallas' backfield duties.

  • Sauce Gardner CB | IND

Colts' Sauce Gardner: Still working through calf injury

Gardner (calf) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report.

Gardner has been sidelined for the Colts' last three games due to a calf injury that he sustained in Week 13 against the Texans. He hasn't been able to practice since sustaining the injury, so he's unlikely to play against the Jaguars on Sunday unless he's able to log a limited practice by Friday.

  • Patriots' Kayshon Boutte: Not practicing Wednesday

Boutte (concussion) wasn't spotted at Wednesday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Coach Mike Vrabel confirmed Tuesday that Boutte is in the NFL's concussion protocol, with the wideout's absence Wednesday now giving him two more chances to make a practice appearance before the Patriots' Week 17 injury designations are revealed. If Boutte isn't cleared for Sunday's game against the Jets, fellow WR Kyle Williams would be in line for added snaps.

  • Colts' DeForest Buckner: DNP to open week

Buckner (neck) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report.

Buckner was activated from injured reserve ahead of the Colts' MNF contest against the 49ers, when he logged five tackles (four solo) while playing 44 of 66 defensive snaps (66.7 percent). He'll likely have his practice reps limited to ensure he doesn't aggravate the neck injury that caused him to land on IR in early November. Friday's practice report will shed light on Buckner's chances of playing in Sunday's AFC South tilt against the Jaguars.

  • Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Good to go for Thursday

Turpin (shoulder) does not have an injury designation for Thursday's Christmas Day matchup against Washington, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Turpin has managed a shoulder injury this week and was listed as limited Monday and Tuesday. However, he was deemed a full participant for Wednesday's practice walkthrough and wasn't given a designation for Thursday's contest. As such, Turpin should serve in his usual role as the Cowboys' lead kick/punt returner versus the Commanders. He could also see more work as a wideout if Ryan Flournoy (knee, questionable) is unable to suit up.
