Jonathon Brooks RB | CAR
Panthers' Jonathon Brooks: Considered day-to-day
Head coach Dave Canales told reporters after Sunday's 34-3 win over the Falcons that Brooks is considered day-to-day due to a groin injury, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Brooks aggravated a groin injury that dates back to training camp during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game and did not return. It looks like the injury is not considered a long-term issue, but it puts his status for Week 3 against the Browns on Sept. 27 in jeopardy. Chuba Hubbard would see an even bigger role if Brooks were to miss time, and AJ Dillon would be next in line for RB2 duties.

Chase Brown RB | CIN
Bengals' Chase Brown: Solid production with 23 touches
Brown rushed 20 times for 80 yards and brought in three of five targets for two yards in the Bengals' 20-6 win over the Texans on Sunday.
As his final numbers suggest, Brown worked for virtually every yard Sunday, but his contributions on the ground helped the Bengals move the chains and pull off the upset road victory. Brown couldn't get anything going as a receiver, but the fact he saw five targets is certainly encouraging from a bigger-picture fantasy view. The fourth-year back's usage through the first two games corroborates Brown's unquestioned role as the primary option in Cincinnati's ground game, as he's already seen 36 carries and 11 targets heading into a Week 3 road matchup against an always tough Steelers defense next Sunday.

Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN
Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: First pair of TDs in win
Chase brought in seven of nine targets for 75 yards and two touchdowns in the Bengals' 20-6 win over the Texans on Sunday.
Chase recorded what already profiles as a Catch of the Year candidate on the first of his two touchdowns, one that saw him exhibit elite body control while making a narrowly inbounds, spinning grab from 32 yards out late in the second quarter. He went on to add an 18-yard TD reception in the latter portion of the third quarter as well, and he finished with the team lead in receptions while checking in as the runner-up to Tee Higgins in both receiving yards and targets. The rewarding fantasy day atoned for a quiet two-reception and scoreless Week 1 for the perennial Pro Bowler, who'll next tangle with the Steelers defense in a Week 3 road matchup next Sunday.

David Njoku TE | LAC
Chargers' David Njoku: Exits game with knee injury
Njoku (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Njoku had to be carted off the field after sustaining a knee injury early in the second quarter, and the veteran tight end is in the locker room undergoing further tests to determine the severity of the injury. Second-year pro Oronde Gadsden should see an uptick in offensive snaps for as long as Njoku is out of the game.

Brandon Pili DT | SEA
Seahawks' Brandon Pili: Exits with potential concussion
Pili (head) is being evaluated for a potential concussion after exiting Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Pili exited the first quarter of Sunday's game with a head injury. The defensive tackle will be evaluated by the Seahawks' medical staff as well as an independent neurologist to determine if Pili has suffered a concussion or if he's cleared to return.
-
P.J. Locke DB | DAL
Cowboys' P.J. Locke: Dealing with foot injury
Locke (foot) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Commanders, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Locke suffered a foot injury in the first quarter, and his status for the remainder of the game is uncertain. The Cowboys are already operating without Malik Hooker (forearm) in Week 2, so they'll be especially thin while Locke is sidelined.
-
Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Ravens' Derrick Henry: Gets into end zone in Week 2 loss
Henry carried the ball 16 times for 68 yards and a touchdown and caught all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.
The five-time Pro Bowler punched it in from one yard out on a wildcat snap late in the first quarter to open the scoring. Henry wasn't able to break any big gains, however, with his longest run going for just eight yards. He's made four trips to the end zone in two games to begin the season, piling up 214 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards as well, and Henry will look to keep rolling in a Week 3 road trip to Dallas.

Caleb Williams QB | CHI
Bears' Caleb Williams: Scheduled for imaging on hamstring
Williams will undergo imaging on his right hamstring Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Williams was carted off the field in the fourth quarter after sustaining a non-contact injury, which was later diagnosed as a hamstring injury. Monday's test will provide the Bears with more clarity on Williams' recovery timeline, but he appears to be in jeopardy of sitting out the Bears' next game on Monday, Sept. 28 against the 2-0 Eagles, at minimum. If Williams misses time, then Tyson Bagent would step up as the Bears' starter, with Case Keenum (coach's decision) serving as the backup.

Tetairoa McMillan WR | CAR
Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Clears century mark in win
McMillan brought in five of 10 targets for 101 yards in the Panthers' 34-3 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
McMillan's yardage total comfortably paced the Panthers on the afternoon, and the second-year pro also led the team in targets while checking in as the runner-up in receptions. He's posted five catches apiece in each of his first two games of the season and parlayed them into a solid 176 receiving yards on 18 targets, all numbers that only serve to further cement his status as an integral component of Carolina's air attack. McMillan will next take aim at the Browns' inconsistent defense in a Week 3 road matchup next Sunday.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Quiet in Week 2 loss
Jackson completed 21 of 31 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown and an interception while adding 34 rushing yards on four carries in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.
After throwing for 324 yards and averaging 13.0 yards per attempt in a win over the Colts last week, Jackson's passing numbers fell back to earth with Zay Flowers (hamstring) sidelined. The star QB still had a chance to put together a game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter, but Rashod Bateman broke off a route early and Jackson's pass attempt deep into New Orleans territory got intercepted instead. It was Jackson's first INT in two games, and he's amassed 559 passing yards and 74 rushing yards with three total TDs (two passing, one rushing) heading into a Week 3 road trip to Dallas.
