Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Subdued production in ugly loss
Robinson rushed 16 times for 72 yards and brought in three of four targets for nine yards in the Falcons' 34-3 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
Considering the Falcons' air attack posed next to no threat to the Panthers defense while being helmed by Cooper Rush and Jack Strand, Robinson managed to put together a serviceable, albeit scoreless, day. The ultra-talented back didn't have a robust enough opportunity on the ground thanks to a game script that increasingly turned against the run, but Robinson's 4.5 yards per carry was more than respectable considering the circumstances. Either Michael Penix (knee) or Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) appear to have a chance to return for Thursday's Week 3 road matchup against the Packers, a development that would theoretically offer Robinson the opportunity to see some less crowded defensive fronts.

Derwin James FS | LAC
Chargers' Derwin James: Questionable to return Sunday
James (hand) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Raiders.
James suffered a hand injury in the first quarter, and his status for the rest of the game is now up in the air. In James' absence, Tony Jefferson is a top candidate to see an increase in workload at safety.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Outplayed by Henderson in Week 2
Stevenson rushed six times for 43 yards while catching one of two targets for three yards in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Steelers. He also lost a fumble.
Stevenson lost a fumble in the first quarter and proceeded to cede the majority of backfield opportunities to TreVeyon Henderson (ankle), who rushed 16 times for 76 yards and a touchdown in the latter's season debut. The pair of running backs split carries during Henderson's rookie 2025 season, and Stevenson racked up 23 touches in Henderson's absence during the Week 1 loss to the Seahawks. Stevenson, who has lost five of 11 fumbles since the start of the 2024 regular season, will try to improve his ball security in Week 3 against a Jaguars defense that recovered nine fumbles during the 2025 regular season.

Drake Maye QB | NE
Patriots' Drake Maye: Fails to throw TD in Week 2 win
Maye completed 14 of 22 passes for 208 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Steelers.
Maye didn't get much going through the air and was picked off on the first possession of the second half, but the Patriots rode their defense and running game to a comfortable win. Romeo Doubs stepped up at wide receiver with 96 of Maye's 208 yards through the air in the absence of A.J. Brown (ankle), who is expected to miss six weeks due to an ankle injury sustained in the Week 1 loss to Seattle. Maye is averaging just 193 passing yards and takes a 1:4 TD:INT into a Week 3 road game against the Jaguars.

Mason Taylor TE | NYJ
Jets' Mason Taylor: Iffy to return due to thumb injury
Taylor (thumb) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Packers, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Taylor appeared to have picked up the thumb injury during the second half or overtime and is questionable to return. Rookie first-rounder Kenyon Sadiq will serve as the Jets' TE1 for as long as Taylor is out of the game, with Jeremy Ruckert and Andrew Beck providing depth at the position.

TreVeyon Henderson RB | NE
Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Scores 39-yard TD in season debut
Henderson (ankle) rushed 16 times for 76 yards and a touchdown and wasn't targeted in the passing game during Sunday's 20-3 win over the Steelers.
Henderson didn't take long to make an impact in his season debut after sitting out the 13-10 Week 1 loss to Seattle. The 2025 second-round pick opened the scoring with a 39-yard touchdown run 6:38 into Sunday's game and handled 17 touches compared to just seven for Rhamondre Stevenson, who lost a fumble on the drive preceding Henderson's touchdown run. Henderson had 180 carries to Stevenson's 130 during the 2025 regular season. Both running backs are likely to be involved in the Week 3 game plan against the Jaguars.
-
Travis Etienne RB | NO
Saints' Travis Etienne: Limited volume in Baltimore
Etienne carried the ball eight times for 25 yards and caught both his targets for six yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Ravens. He added a two-point conversion.
After being heavily involved as a pass catcher in his New Orleans debut last week, Etienne saw his touch volume take a steep drop as Alvin Kamara returned to the lineup and saw six targets, catching five of them. The lack of usage for Etienne in curious considering the big contract the Saints gave him this offseason, and through two games the former Jaguar has just 17 carries for 71 yards, along with a 9-38-0 line on 11 targets. Without bigger volume, he'll be a risky play in Week 3 at home against the Raiders.
-
Tyler Shough QB | NO
Saints' Tyler Shough: Produces two TDs in Week 2 win
Shough completed 27 of 34 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown while adding 23 yards and a TD on nine carries in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Ravens.
The second-year QB had a slow start to the contest, but Shough engineered another second-half comeback for the Saints, and this one was actually successful. He hit Chris Olave for a 21-yard TD early in the fourth quarter before just getting across the goal line for a one-yard score inside the final two minutes. Shough has 662 passing yards and a 4:2 TD:INT through two games to begin the season, and he'll take plenty of confidence and momentum into a Week 3 home clash with the Raiders.

Fernando Carmona G | TEN
Titans' Fernando Carmona: Injured in loss
Carmona suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Eagles, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Carmona operated as the team's starting right guard in the contest, but he will leave Week 2 a little worse for wear. The exact nature of the injury is currently unclear, but Carmona's status at the team's first practice of the week Wednesday will shed some light on his condition.

Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Big day in upset of Ravens
Olave caught eight of 10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-17 win over Baltimore.
The fifth-year wideout dealt with a minor hamstring issue during the week, but Olave looked fully healthy when he hauled in a 21-yard strike from Tyler Shough early in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 17-17. Olave has an impressive 18-268-1 line on 23 targets through two games as the Saints' clear top downfield option, and he seems likely to continue padding his numbers in a Week 3 home tilt against the Raiders.
