  • Patriots' Dre'Mont Jones: Active for Sunday's game

Jones (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Jones logged limited practices throughout Week 2 and was listed as questionable after Friday's session due to a foot injury. The linebacker has made enough progress to garner active status for Sunday's game, where he will likely play a similar amount of defensive snaps as he did in Week 1 (84 percent).

  • Chase Young DE | NO

Saints' Chase Young: Green light to play against Baltimore

Young (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Young was working through a calf injury during Week 2 prep, and the veteran pass rusher has been cleared by medical staff to play Sunday. If his snap count is limited to decrease the chance of injury aggravation, then Myles Cole and Anfernee Jennings would be in line for a bump in playing time. Young logged one pass defense but failed to record a tackle during the Saints' 31-30 overtime loss to the Lions in Week 1.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Saints' Zach Wilson: Emergency QB3 vs. Baltimore

Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Saints' emergency third quarterback against the Ravens on Sunday.

For a second consecutive week, Wilson will be the emergency QB3 behind starter Tyler Shough and backup Spencer Rattler. Wilson is not allowed to play Sunday unless both Shough and Rattler leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: May be trending toward sitting Week 2

Nacua (hip), who is officially listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Giants, "is trending the wrong way" in advance of the Week 2 contest, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

After being added to the Rams' injury report Friday, Nacua proceeded to miss the team's final two practices of the week due to a sore hip. Though the Rams are likely to treat Nacua as a gameday decision with a call on his status perhaps going all the way down to the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, the wideout currently seems to be trending toward sitting out the Week 2 matchup. With that in mind, fantasy managers planning on including Nacua in lineups this week will want to have an alternative option available to pivot to Monday in the event he sits out.

  • Buccaneers' Jacob Parrish: Won't play against Cleveland

Parrish (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Parrish looked to be on track to play in Week 2 after logging a full practice Friday. However, the second-year defensive back hasn't progressed enough in his recovery from a back injury to take the field Sunday, so his next chance to play is Week 3 against the Vikings next Sunday. Keionte Scott will continue to operate in an elevated role in the secondary in Parrish's absence.

  • Tyson Campbell CB | CLE

Browns' Tyson Campbell: Ready for Week 2

Campbell (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Campbell was able to upgrade to limited participation in Friday's practice after missing Thursday's session with an ankle injury. The starting outside cornerback has evidently been able to recover enough from the issue to suit up for Sunday's contest.

  • Ladd McConkey WR | LAC

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Trending toward playing Week 2

McConkey (ribs), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, is "trending in the right direction" ahead of the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Official word on McConkey's status will arrive when the Chargers post their inactive list 90 minutes prior to kickoff, but unless he experiences a setback with his cracked rib while warming up Sunday, the third-year wideout is on track to suit up. Schefter relayed earlier Sunday that McConkey will wear a flak jacket to protect his injured rib if he does wind up playing.

  • Panthers' Patrick Jones: Inactive for Week 2

Jones (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Jones will end up missing each of the Panthers' first two games of the regular season due to a back injury. The positive news is that he was a limited participant in all three practices during Week 2 prep, and an increase in participation would put him on track to play against the Browns on Sept. 27. Trevis Gipson and Princely Umanmielen will both see more defensive snaps for as long Jones is sidelined.

  • Kylen Granson TE | TEN

Titans' Kylen Granson: Inactive in Week 2

Granson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Philadelphia.

Granson is a healthy scratch for a second consecutive game, and his next opportunity to suit up will come in Week 3 versus the Giants.

  • Tyrel Dodson LB | CAR

Panthers' Tyrel Dodson: Won't play against Atlanta

Dodson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Dodson was signed to the Panthers' active roster this past Monday after originally inking a deal to the team's practice squad Sept. 1. He will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's NFC South showdown, and his next chance to play is Week 3 against the Browns on Sept. 27. Claudin Cherelus, Isaiah Simmons and Jackson Kuwatch will provide depth at inside linebacker behind starters Devin Lloyd and Bobby Okereke.
