Brenen Thompson WR | LAC
Chargers' Brenen Thompson: Idle Thursday
Thompson (quadriceps) did not practice Wednesday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Thompson didn't practice last week and missed Sunday's loss against the Bills. With the rookie sidelined last week, Marquez Valdes-Scantling played three offensive snaps as the lightly-used fourth receiver behind Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston and Tre' Harris.

Xavier Legette WR | CAR
Panthers' Xavier Legette: Listed as DNP on Wednesday
Legette (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Coach Dave Canales labeled Legette as week-to-week headed into Sunday night's game against the Lions. With Jalen Coker (quad) also dinged up, the Panthers could again be looking at giving Brycen Tremayne and John Metchie considerable playing time alongside Tetairoa McMillan in Detroit. Legette has a 2-64-0 receiving line on six targets across two games this season.

Caleb Williams QB | CHI
Bears' Caleb Williams: Missing Wednesday's walkthrough
Coach Ben Johnson said Williams is "getting better every singly day" but won't participate in Wednesday's walkthrough, Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Williams exited a Week 2 loss to the Vikings in the fourth quarter due to a hamstring injury. He was considered week-to-week by Johnson afterward and then didn't practice at all before being ruled out for Monday's game against the Eagles. On Sunday, Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport of ESPN reported that Williams was diagnosed with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, which is considered to be a 3-to-4-week injury. Johnson told Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com on Wednesday that "the direction has already been made" as it pertains to a Week 4 starting QB this Sunday versus the Jets, but who that may be between Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent isn't known.

Charlie Kolar TE | LAC
Chargers' Charlie Kolar: Still sidelined at practice Wednesday
Kolar (forearm) is not practicing Wednesday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Kolar remains unlikely to play Sunday against the Seahawks, as he continues his recovery from a broken forearm, which he suffered in Week 2. Oronde Gadsden, Hayden Rucci and Patrick Herbert handled tight-end duties against the Bills last Sunday.
-
Jalen Ramsey CB | PIT
Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Questionable for Week 4
Ramsey (wrist) is questionable for Thursday night's game against the Browns, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Ramsey was limited in practice all week after suffering the injury last Sunday against the Bengals. Rayshawn Jenkins would become an every-down safety with Daylen Everette and Brandin Echols (concussion) seeing increased reps in the secondary if Ramsey is unable to play.
-
Joey Porter Jr. CB | DAL
Steelers' Joey Porter: Ruled out for Week 4
Porter (back) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Browns, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Porter had previously been listed on the Steelers' Week 4 injury report due to conditioning, but he may have had his back flare up on him during Wednesday's practice. He turned in a full practice Tuesday, but he downgraded to limited participation a day later. As a result, Porter's 2026 debut will be delayed at least another week. The Steelers will lean on Jamel Dean, Asante Samuel and Daylen Everette as their primary options at the outside cornerback spots Thursday.
-
Rico Dowdle RB | PIT
Steelers' Rico Dowdle: Ruled out for Week 4
The Steelers ruled Dowdle (toe) out for Thursday's game in Cleveland, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Dowdle will miss a second straight game after he was unable to practice in any fashion on a short week. With Dowdle out of the mix again, Jaylen Warren looks primed to handle a workhorse role out of the Pittsburgh backfield, after he logged 56 of 62 snaps and handled 20 touches (17 carries, three receptions) for 176 yards in a 30-27 win over the Bengals last week.
-
Bryce Young QB | CAR
Panthers' Bryce Young: Opens week with full practice
Young (knee) was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Young played every snap in this past Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Browns, but he made a visit to the blue medical tent on the Carolina sideline at one point during the contest to get his knee checked out. The knee issue evidently isn't a concern heading into Week 4, when Young and the Panthers will be preparing to face off against a Lions defense that has surrendered an NFL-high 299.3 passing yards per game through three contests. Young will profile as a strong fantasy option this week, even while the status of one of his top pass-catching weapons in wideout Jalen Coker (quadriceps) remains somewhat murky.
-
Jalen Coker WR | CAR
Panthers' Jalen Coker: Goes down as non-participant Wednesday
The Panthers listed Coker as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Carolina held a walk-through session for its first Week 4 practice, and though Coker was in attendance for the workout, he looked to be rehabbing off to the side, per Joe Person of The Athletic. Coker had previously appeared on injury reports in Weeks 2 and 3 due to an ankle injury, but he's now tending to a minor quad strain, which knocked him out of this past Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Browns. Per Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer, head coach Dave Canales said he's viewing Coker as day-to-day, so the wideout should have a decent chance at suiting up this Sunday versus the Lions so long as he can practice in some capacity Thursday and/or Friday.

Ashton Dulin WR | IND
Colts' Ashton Dulin: Not practicing Wednesday
Dulin (ankle) is not practicing Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Dulin has missed the past two games, and his practice week ahead of Week 4 is off on the wrong foot. With Alec Pierce (heel/IR) also out last Sunday against the Texans, the Colts used a three-wide set of Laquon Treadwell, Josh Downs and Keenan Allen.
