Stolarz stopped 31 of 33 shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Wild. Stolarz continues to put in good performances, but he was unlucky to take the loss this time. He can't be blamed for the decisive goal -- the Maple Leafs thought they had a chance at a 3-on-1 break, but a great defensive play by Jared Spurgeon made it a 2-on-0 for the Wild going the other way. Stolarz is now 4-2-2 with a 2.38 GAA and a .919 save percentage over eight starts. He's sharing the crease with Joseph Woll at this point. The Maple Leafs play three times over the next week, with home games versus the Bruins on Tuesday, the Red Wings on Friday and the Canadiens on Saturday. Stolarz will likely make a minimum of one start in that span.

Stolarz made 19 saves on 23 shots in a 6-4 win over the Jets on Monday. The Maple Leafs dominated the first two periods and were up 5-2 before they allowed the Jets back in the game in the third, but he stood tall. Stolarz was back in net Monday after Saturday's overtime loss, so it's clear that coach Craig Berube trusts him in net right now as Joseph Woll works his way back from a lower-body injury. Stolarz is now 4-2-1 with a 2.45 GAA and .916 save percentage after handing the Jets their first loss of the season.

Stolarz is expected to start on the road against Winnipeg on Monday, per David Alter of The Hockey News. Stolarz will look to rebound after allowing four goals on 34 shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to Boston on Saturday. He's had a great start to the campaign overall, posting a 2.18 GAA and a .927 save percentage through six appearances. Winnipeg will be a major challenge, though. The Jets are 8-0-0 and rank second offensively with 4.50 goals per game.

Stolarz made 30 saves Saturday in a 4-3 overtime loss to Boston. Stolarz played a strong game, but the puck didn't bounce his way on Brad Marchand's game-winner. The 30-year-old Stolarz is 3-2-1 with a 2.19 GAA and a .927 save percentage through six outings this season. Those are elite numbers for the former backup turned platoon leader. Stolarz and Joseph Woll could begin to alternate starts, but Stolarz is a great fantasy play when he's between the pipes.
