• Ducks' Brian Dumoulin: Swapped for fourth-round pick

  Dumoulin was traded to the Ducks from the Kraken on Tuesday in a swap for a 2026 fourth-round selection. Dumoulin apparently has found himself as the odd man out after the Kraken signed Brandon Montour to a seven-year deal Monday. After spending his first 10 seasons with the Penguins, the veteran blueliner will now be on this third team in as many seasons after spending just one year in Seattle. While Dumoulin has reached the 20-point threshold twice in his career, that is certainly not the norm for the blueliner, who is more likely to offer between 15-20 points per season.

  Dumoulin scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Sharks. Dumoulin has found an unexpected scoring touch with two goals and an assist over his last four contests. He has seen a larger role with Vince Dunn (upper body) sidelined, but Dumoulin remains on the Kraken's third pairing. The 32-year-old is up to a career-high six goals with 10 assists, 67 shots on net, 70 hits, 74 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 76 appearances this season.

  Dumoulin notched an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 3-1 win over the Ducks. Dumoulin has a goal and an assist over his last two outings after posting just one helper across the previous 18 games. The 32-year-old was called upon to log top-four minutes since Adam Larsson (personal) and Vince Dunn (undisclosed) were out Friday. Dumoulin has 15 points, 62 shots on net, 69 hits, 73 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 74 contests.

The 32-year-old defenseman offers next to nothing on offense, and with the Kraken officially eliminated from playoff contention, it's possible he could get rested at times. He has five goals, 14 points, 60 shots on net, 68 hits, 72 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 73 appearances in a third-pairing role.

  Dumoulin notched an assist in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Sabres. Dumoulin snapped a 10-game point drought with his helper on Jordan Eberle's first-period tally. The 32-year-old Dumoulin has filled in on the top pairing while Vince Dunn (upper body) is out of the lineup. Dumoulin has 13 points, 55 shots on net, 61 hits, 66 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 65 appearances, doing little to earn fantasy interest in most formats.
