Mangiapane collected an assist in Friday's 3-1 win over Carolina. Mangiapane registered the primary helper on Aliaksei Protas' 12th goal of the season to open the scoring late in the first period. After failing to find the scoresheet in Washington's first five games of December, Mangiapane has registered a point in back-to-back contests. The left-shot winger has reached the 40-point mark in three consecutive campaigns, but he's on pace to fall well short of that number in 2024-25. The 28-year-old has contributed seven goals, five helpers and a plus-6 rating through 31 appearances.

Mangiapane scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Blackhawks. Mangiapane found the twine midway through the first period with a wrister to notch his seventh goal of the campaign in his return from illness. He's struggled with consistency, however, as this was his first point in six December appearances. Due to his role as a bottom-six forward, don't expect Mangiapane to have a lot of fantasy upside in most formats, particularly when factoring in his consistency issues.

He scored four times and added three helpers over 15 contests in November, which is roughly in line with expectations for his offense. The veteran winger has 10 points, 41 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-7 rating across 24 outings this season, and he's holding his own in a third-line role.
