  • Sanheim scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Rangers. Sanheim's goal came on the power play; it was his first goal with the man advantage since he put up two in 2018-19. He isn't known for his offense per se, but he did put up 44 points, including 10 goals, in 2023-24. At this point, Sanheim is on pace for 38 points, 63 blocks and 106 shots this season. That may be the perfect fit for the bottom of your lineup in deep formats.

  • Sanheim scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues. He also added four shots on goal and two blocked shots. The four shots were a season-high mark for the 29-year-old blueliner, who came through at the 3:51 mark of extra time to give the Flyers a comeback win. This was Sanheim's first goal since the second game of the season, a 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes on Oct. 11.

  • Sanheim logged an assist in Friday's 6-5 shootout win over the Blues. Sanheim started the year positively, but this was just his second helper in the last 13 games. The 29-year-old blueliner isn't at risk of losing playing time -- he's far too important in the defensive zone for that to happen. He's managed six points, 20 shots on net, 34 blocked shots, 13 hits and a minus-1 rating over 17 appearances on the year.

  • Sanheim recorded two assists, one shot on net, one blocked shot and a plus-4 rating in Monday's 5-2 win over the Panthers. The 29-year-old continues to come through in a big way on the Flyers' patchwork blue line, as the team is currently missing regulars Cam York (lower body) and Rasmus Ristolainen (triceps) as well as top prospect Oliver Bonk (upper body). Sanheim has a goal and three points through the first three games of the season while averaging a massive 27:15 TOI, but his minutes and role will shrink once the roster gets healthier.

  • Sanheim scored a goal on two shots and blocked four shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes. Sanheim has played monster minutes early in the season, averaging 28:25 per game to begin 2025-26. He's added three shots on net and six blocked shots. It looks like head coach Rick Tocchet will lean on Sanheim heavily and give him power-play time as well. Sanheim's offense dipped from 44 points in 2023-24 to 30 points last year, but he's in position for a bounce-back campaign if the Flyers' offense cooperates.
