  Brisson is not currently on the Golden Knights' roster, per the NHL media site Tuesday. Brisson is pointless in his nine NHL games this year while registering seven shots, nine hits and a minus-3 rating while averaging 9:52 of ice time. With Brisson down in the minors, the Knights brought up Raphael Lavoie, who is expected to be on the roster for Tuesday's clash with Dallas.

  Brisson was reassigned to AHL Henderson on Thursday. Brisson has no points, seven shots and seven hits across seven appearances with Vegas in 2024-25. Although he's heading to the minors for now, it wouldn't be surprising to see him back with the Golden Knights later in the campaign.

  Brisson scored a goal on five shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 6-1 preseason win over the Avalanche. Brisson enjoyed his best game of the preseason in this one as he continues his long-shot push for an Opening Night roster spot. The 22-year-old had eight points in 15 games with the Golden Knights last year, but he didn't appear in the postseason. Brisson has some factors working against him this fall -- Tanner Laczynski and Zach Aston-Reese have also played well, and Brisson is waivers-exempt, which makes it easier to trim him from the roster.

  Brisson was demoted to AHL Henderson on Friday. Brisson has put up solid numbers while in the NHL this season, recording eight points in 15 games while averaging 12:20 of ice time. The decision to move Brisson down to the minors could be an indication that one or both of Nicolas Roy (undisclosed) or Chandler Stephenson (personal) will be available to play versus Minnesota on Friday.
