  • Suzuki logged a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks. Suzuki has a goal and four helpers over his last five outings. This was his first power-play point since Jan. 18, which may be a sign that the Canadiens' power play will get back on track soon. Suzuki is up to 52 points (15 goals, 37 helpers), 16 power-play points, 107 shots on net, 46 blocked shots, 43 hits and a plus-6 rating through 53 outings overall.

  • Suzuki had an assist, three shots on net, one block and one hit in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Winnipeg. Suzuki appeared to catch Connor Hellebuyck by surprise with his pass from behind the net to Juraj Slafkovsky, who beat the netminder to give Montreal a 1-0 lead. Suzuki has four points in the last two games and leads the Canadiens with 36 assists through 50 outings.

  • Suzuki recorded a goal and two assists in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Devils. Suzuki got involved in each of the team's three goals Saturday, but his spectacular performance wasn't enough to lift the Canadiens to victory after Jack Hughes scored the game-winner for New Jersey in the final minute of overtime. Suzuki has been productive in recent weeks and has cracked the scoresheet in four of his last six appearances, and as the center of both the first line and the first power play unit, he should continue to find plenty of opportunities to keep producing. Suzuki is up to 50 points (15 goals, 35 assists) in 49 games this season.

  • Suzuki scored a goal on six shots in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Rangers. Suzuki got a stick on a breakout pass attempt and was able to snipe an unassisted tally when he collected the loose puck. The 25-year-old has enjoyed a strong January with three goals, eight assists and a plus-7 rating over nine appearances, and he's been held off the scoresheet just once this month. Overall, the first-line center has 14 goals, 47 points, 95 shots on net, 38 hits, 38 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 46 appearances. He's yet to finish above a point-per-game pace in his career, but he's displayed steady growth each season, so getting to that level is a possibility in 2024-25.

  • Suzuki had a power-play assist and one shot on net in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Maple Leafs. Suzuki logged the secondary helper on Patrik Laine's tally, giving the former points in eight of the last nine games played. The top-line center has two goals and nine assists during that stretch. Suzuki has 15 power-play points this season, nearly a third of his team-high 46 points.
