Kuzmenko logged an assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Penguins. Kuzmenko saw 18:53 of ice time in his Flyers debut and may be in line for a larger role with his new team than he was with the Flames. The 29-year-old winger has 16 points, 40 shots on net and a minus-8 rating over 38 appearances this season. If Kuzmenko sees top-six minutes regularly and doesn't clash with head coach John Tortorella too much, he could be an interesting offense-only addition in fantasy for the remainder of the season.

Kuzmenko (not injury related) is in Philadelphia and is slated to join the lineup versus Pittsburgh on Saturday. Kuzmenko was dealt to Philadelphia from Calgary on Jan. 30 and had visa issues, as well as a canceled flight from Toronto due to snow Thursday. The 29-year-old had four goals, 11 assists and 39 shots on goal across 37 appearances for the Flames prior to the trade. Look for Jacob Gaucher to return to AHL Lehigh Valley, while Rodrigo Abols could also be sent down to the minors.

Kuzmenko (not injury related) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Washington, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Kuzmenko was traded to the Flyers from the Flames last week, but he's been dealing with visa issues in recent days. Head coach John Tortorella said Thursday that Kuzmenko's paperwork is done, but the 29-year-old's flight from Toronto was canceled due to weather. Tortorella is optimistic that Kuzmenko will be available for Saturday's game against the Penguins.

Kuzmenko (not injury related) won't be an option for Sunday's matchup versus Colorado, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Kuzmenko is not on the Flyers' roster yet due to visa issues. Philadelphia acquired the 28-year-old forward from Calgary on Thursday along with Jakob Pelletier as part of a four-player trade involving Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost. Pelletier is on the Flyers' roster, per the NHL media site. Kuzmenko has four goals, 15 points and 39 shots on net through 37 appearances this season.

Kuzmenko was traded to the Flyers from the Flames on Thursday, along with Jakob Pelletier, a 2025 second-round pick and a 2028 seventh-round pick, in exchange for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports. Kuzmenko is the oldest player in the deal at 28 years old. His Flames tenure lasted about a year -- he was dealt from Vancouver to Calgary on Jan. 31, 2024 -- and he earned 40 points over 66 games in the Flaming C. The likelihood that he comes anywhere near his first NHL campaign, a 39-goal, 74-point effort in 2022-23, is slim, especially in a defense-first system like Philadelphia's. Kuzmenko's noted lack of back-checking could also cause a rift with head coach John Tortorella. Still, Kuzmenko may make rookie phenom Matvei Michkov more comfortable -- the two played together with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL in 2021-22 before Kuzmenko made the jump to the NHL. They may even play on the same line together with the Flyers, which would be a welcome change for Kuzmenko, who has often been stuck in a bottom-six spot with the Flames this year when he's not in the press box.
