Voronkov has four goals and two assists over his last five games. He took a little time to settle back in after missing October with an upper-body injury, but he's all the way back now. The Blue Jackets have an interesting composition of forwards, with offense spread across three lines, so Voronkov could be an option in some fantasy formats. He has seven points, 23 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 11 appearances.

  Voronkov scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Thursday's 7-6 overtime win over the Lightning. Voronkov helped lay the foundation for a comeback from an early 3-0 deficit. He set up Sean Monahan for the first Columbus goal, and Monahan returned the favor on the team's next tally early in the second. With three goals and two assists over his last four games, Voronkov is again looking like a player who was able to make an impact in bursts at times in 2023-24. He's earned six points, 20 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 10 outings this season, though it's his top-six role currently that gives him some appeal in fantasy.

  Voronkov scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Kings. Voronkov picked up his first point in four contests this season when he opened the scoring at 13:26 of the first period. The 24-year-old has added seven shots on net, two PIM and a minus-3 rating while filling a bottom-six role. He saw top-six usage at times in 2023-24 en route to an 18-goal, 34-point effort over 75 games as a rookie. He'll have a tough time reaching those marks again unless he starts to see a larger role.

• Blue Jackets' Dmitri Voronkov: Returns to action Friday

  Voronkov (upper body) will make his season debut versus Winnipeg on Friday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Voronkov was injured in a preseason game against the Penguins, and it was thought that he would be out of action until the end of November, but he is ready to play. The 24-year-old had 18 goals and 34 points in 75 regular-season games last season. Look for Voronkov to begin as a bottom-six forward upon his return.

  Per Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site, Voronkov (upper body) will not require surgery, general manager Don Waddell said Thursday. Voronkov is expected to return by the end of November, according to Waddell. Voronkov was injured a week ago in a preseason game against the Penguins. He had 18 goals, 16 assists, 52 PIM and 83 hits in 75 regular-season appearances in 2023-24 for the Blue Jackets.
