Swayman stopped 18 of 22 shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Canucks. Swayman didn't have his best performance, taking his third loss in four games. He's 1-2-1 with 14 goals allowed on 99 shots in that span. Swayman did his best to extend the game, but Liam Ohgren's tally in the seventh round of the shootout decided the result. For the season, Swayman is now 14-9-1 with a 2.80 GAA and a .906 save percentage over 24 starts. Joonas Korpisalo is likely to get the nod for Sunday's home game versus the Senators.

Swayman will patrol the home crease versus Vancouver on Saturday, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports. Swayman has rebounded nicely this season after an awful 2024-25 campaign. He was 22-29-7 with a 3.11 GAA and an .892 save percentage last season and has improved to 14-9-2 with a 2.76 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 23 starts in 2025-26. The Canucks are a tired team Saturday, coming off a 4-1 win over the Islanders in New York on Friday.

Swayman stopped 22 of 25 shots on net in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Oilers. Swayman allowed a goal in each period Thursday, including one at both a man advantage and disadvantage. After Thursday's loss, the 27-year-old goalie now has a 14-9-0 record with a 2.76 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 23 appearances this season. Despite the loss, Swayman's value in fantasy doesn't falter from being one of the best options between the pipes, as he hasn't lost back-to-back games since mid-October. He has a strong chance to post a new career high in wins if he can surpass the 22 he had through 58 appearances a year ago. Swayman's next chance to bounce back is Saturday against the new-look Canucks.

Swayman stopped 20 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth. Utah took an early 1-0 lead on a Barrett Hayton power-play tally midway through the first period, but Swayman shut the door the rest of the way. It was a strong bounce-back performance from the 27-year-old netminder after he surrendered six goals to the Wild on Sunday. However, that was a rare misstep for Swayman, who has gone 11-4-0 in 15 starts with a 2.42 GAA and a .920 save percentage since the beginning of November.

Swayman will be between the home pipes against the Mammoth on Tuesday, per Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal. Swayman has stumbled a bit in December after playing at a high level in November, as he's 2-2-0 with a 3.75 GAA and an .873 save percentage over four games this month. For comparison, the 27-year-old goaltender went 8-2-0 with a .934 save percentage over 10 appearances in November. As for the Mammoth, they have scored exactly five goals in back-to-back victories, with Sunday's win over the Penguins being a comeback effort capped off by a Dylan Guenther snipe in overtime.
