  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Out indefinitely

Cooley (lower body) was injured against Pittsburgh on Thursday and will be out of action indefinitely.

Cooley will be reevaluated after the 4 Nations Face-Off break that ends Feb. 22. The 20-year-old sophomore has 15 goals and 28 assists, including seven goals and nine helpers on the power play. It's another big blow to Utah, who are already missing Dylan Guenther with a lower-body injury.

  • Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Still sidelined Saturday

Kastelic (upper body) will not be available versus the Rangers on Saturday, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports.

Kastelic will miss his sixth straight game due to his lingering undisclosed injury. The 25-year-old center has been practicing in a regular sweater but is running out of time to suit up before the NHL shuts down for the 4 Nations Face-Off. Once given the all-clear, Kastelic will undoubtedly be eager to end his 12-game goal drought that dates back to Dec. 19 versus the Oilers.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Scores 36th goal of season

Draisaitl recorded a power-play goal and took 10 shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Red Wings.

Draisaitl continues to play at a high level and snapped a two-game goal skid with his 36th goal of the campaign. He's found the twine in four of his last six appearances, but his contributions aren't solely tied to his ability to score goals. He's cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his last 11 appearances, a span in which he's posted 17 points and six multi-point performances.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Keeps productive stretch alive

Larkin scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over Edmonton.

Larkin found the back of the net and continued his excellent stretch, as he's now recorded points in five of his last six appearances. He's been on a roll throughout the month with 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) in 14 January games.

  • Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen: Scores in shootout win

Rasmussen scored a goal while adding two shots, one hit and one blocked shot in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over Edmonton.

Rasmussen found the back of the net for the second time over his last three games, and that snapped a stretch of just one point across a 16-game stretch. Rasmussen has 15 points across 50 games this season, so even if he's on a good stretch over the last three games, it's not enough to make him relevant in most fantasy formats.

  • Parker Ford C | WPG

Jets' Parker Ford: Tickles twine in NHL debut

Ford scored his first career goal in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

Making his NHL debut, the undrafted 24-year-old banged home a rebound to cap a Winnipeg surge that saw the visitors blow the game open with three goals in the first six minutes of the third period. Ford had 11 goals and 17 points over 36 appearances for AHL Manitoba prior to his promotion, and he figures to work in a bottom-six role while Adam Lowry (upper body) and Morgan Barron (upper body) remain sidelined.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Two special-teams points in loss

Lindholm scored a shorthanded goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Jets.

The Bruins got routed at even strength, but Lindholm helped keep the team in the game until the third period with his work on special teams. The veteran center has had a bumpy first season with Boston, but he's beginning to find his footing, producing two goals and seven points over the last nine games, including four power-play helpers.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Two-point effort in win

Namestnikov scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

The veteran center opened the scoring early in the first period, snapping a 13-game goal drought in the process. Namestnikov has been productive since returning from a four-game absence in mid-January due to a lower-body injury, and over the last five contests he's collected five points while seeing shifts on the second power-play unit.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Lights lamp twice in win

Scheifele scored two goals, including the game-winner on the power play, in Thursday's 6-2 victory over the Bruins.

His second tally of the night came just 35 seconds into the third period, breaking open a 2-2 tie as the Jets began to pull away. It was Scheifele's eighth game-winning goal of the season, two shy of his career high, and his 31 goals on the campaign puts him second in the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy behind Leon Draisaitl's 36.

  • Ryan Suzuki C | CAR

Hurricanes' Ryan Suzuki: Reassigned to AHL

Suzuki was loaned to AHL Chicago on Friday, according to Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

Suzuki was recalled Thursday as Taylor Hall and Sebastian Aho were unavailable to play due to an illness. Suzuki made his NHL debut and had a plus-1 rating in 6:12 of action. Suzuki could be recalled ahead of Saturday's game versus Los Angeles if Hall and Aho are still unable to play. The Hurricanes recalled defenseman Riley Stillman in a corresponding move.
