  • Kyle MacLean C | NYI

Islanders' Kyle MacLean: Gets on scoresheet with assist

MacLean notched an assist in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Flyers.

MacLean ended his 17-game point drought when he set up Marc Gatcomb's first career goal. The 25-year-old MacLean has played on the fourth line regularly of late, giving him minimal upside on offense. The center has five points, 37 shots on net, 64 hits, 20 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 50 appearances. Still, he plays an honest defensive game, and that's enough to keep him in the lineup most of the time.

  • Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Chips in with assist

Goncalves notched an assist in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Kings.

The helper was Goncalves' first point since Dec. 19 versus the Blues. The 24-year-old spent a couple of weeks at AHL Syracuse after clearing waivers earlier in January. He's not out of the woods when it comes to staying in the NHL or in the Lightning's lineup, but he played over Michael Eyssimont in this contest. Cam Atkinson is also in the mix to be a healthy scratch at times. Goncalves has just three points with 20 shots on net and 22 hits over 28 appearances this season.

  • Ridly Greig C | OTT

Senators' Ridly Greig: Tallies on power play

Greig scored a power-play goal on three shots, added four PIM and logged two hits in Thursday's 5-4 overtime win over the Capitals.

Greig has scored in back-to-back games after being limited to one assist over his previous 12 contests. The 22-year-old forward opened the scoring at 4:08 of the second period. Greig is now at 15 points (five on the power play), 65 shots on net, 87 hits, 32 PIM and a minus-10 rating across 48 appearances. His upside is limited in a third-line role, though he is able to agitate opponents with his physical play, which can make up for his modest offense in deep formats.

  • Shane Pinto C | OTT

Senators' Shane Pinto: Produces pair of points Thursday

Pinto scored a shorthanded goal on two shots and added an assist in Thursday's 5-4 overtime win over the Capitals.

Pinto's tally stretched the Senators' lead to 3-1. While that advantage didn't hold, Pinto delivered again in overtime to set up Thomas Chabot for the game-winning goal. The 24-year-old Pinto has four goals and six assists over his last 11 contests despite routinely playing on the third line in that span. The center is at 10 goals, 10 helpers, 83 shots on net, 40 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating across 43 appearances. He has twice as many shorthanded points (four) as power-play points (two) this season.

  • Yakov Trenin C | MIN

Wild's Yakov Trenin: Dishes pair of helpers

Trenin logged two assists, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canadiens.

Trenin had helpers on goals by Liam Ohgren and Frederick Gaudreau in this contest. This was Trenin's second multi-point effort of the season. The physical forward is up to four goals, six assists, 43 shots on net, 132 hits, 27 PIM and a plus-7 rating over 46 appearances. He's done little to earn fantasy attention, though he may carry some value in formats that strongly reward physical play.

  • Will Smith C | SJ

Sharks' Will Smith: Riding six-game point streak

Smith provided an assist in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.

Smith has been hot recently, earning two goals and five assists, along with a plus-7 rating, during his six-game point streak. The 19-year-old forward kept the good times going when he set up Carl Grundstrom's tally in the first period. Smith has grown into more production and ice time as the season progresses. He's now at 22 points, 63 shots on net and a minus-10 rating over 46 appearances.

  • Sharks' Mikael Granlund: Hands out helper Thursday

Granlund notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.

Granlund was ill leading up to the contest, but he suited up and logged his usual workload with 20:07 of ice time. The center has been rolling lately with four goals and six assists over his last 11 games. For the season, the 32-year-old is up to 15 tallies, 30 helpers, 126 shots on net, 37 hits, 37 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 52 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Adds helper in loss

Celebrini notched an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.

Celebrini picked up three goals and six assists over the last 10 games of January. The 18-year-old center set up a Tyler Toffoli tally in the third period of this contest. Celebrini is up to 37 points (16 goals, 21 helpers), 141 shots on net and a minus-20 rating through 42 appearances this year. He continues to impress while logging steady top-six minutes.

  • Shane Wright C | SEA

Kraken's Shane Wright: Sends helper in win

Wright notched an assist in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Sharks.

Wright set up the first of Brandon Montour's two goals in the game. With 10 points over 15 contests, Wright had the best month of his career in January, surpassing his nine-point December. Wright is up to nine goals, 17 helpers, 49 shots on net, 39 hits, 37 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 50 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign. He could still improve his shot volume, but he's done well enough to maintain a third-line role for much of the campaign.

  • Jared McCann C | SEA

Kraken's Jared McCann: Puts up power-play helper

McCann notched a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Sharks.

McCann has a goal and six helpers over his last six contests. He went 1-for-23 on shots in January, but earning 11 helpers over 15 games helped cushion the blow for most fantasy managers. The 28-year-old forward is up to the 40-point mark for the fourth straight campaign (14 goals, 26 helpers), and he's added 10 power-play points, 118 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 53 appearances.
