Noel Acciari C | PIT
Penguins' Noel Acciari: Stuck in slump
Acciari's point drought reached 16 games after he failed to get on the scoresheet in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over Utah.
Acciari has racked up 32 hits, 20 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating during the slump. The 33-year-old may face some pressure for fourth-line minutes for a while. Matt Nieto and Philip Tomasino were scratched Wednesday, while Bokondji Imama drew into the lineup and Blake Lizotte returned from an illness, bumping Acciari onto the wing. Acciari is valued for his physicality and his defense, and he has eight points, 56 shots on net, 112 hits, 63 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating through 53 appearances this season.

Cody Glass C | NJ
Penguins' Cody Glass: Sets up game-winner
Glass produced an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over Utah.
Glass has four points over his last seven outings. He left a pass for Sidney Crosby, who dangled around Connor Ingram for the game-winning goal in overtime. Glass is up to 13 points in 40 contests, matching his scoring output from 41 appearances with Nashville last season. He's added 54 shots on net, 34 hits, 23 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating in 2024-25. He could see more ice time while competing with Kevin Hayes for middle-six minutes during Evgeni Malkin's (lower body) absence.

Rickard Rakell C | PIT
Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Helps out in overtime
Rakell notched an assist, five shots on goal, three blocked shots and two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over Utah.
Rakell has a helper in four of his last five outings. His helper was a timely one in this contest, as he drew the secondary assist on Sidney Crosby's game-winning goal in overtime. Rakell is now at 23 goals, 20 assists, 131 shots on net, 88 hits, 60 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating through 52 appearances. Aside from the plus-minus rating and a lack of PIM (10), he's been a strong all-around producer in a top-six role this season.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Pair of points in overtime win
Crosby scored the game-winning goal, added an assist, logged three hits and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over Utah.
Crosby cut across the top of the crease and buried a backhand shot for the game-winning goal 3:50 into overtime. The center has four goals and three assists over his last six outings. For the season, the 37-year-old is up to 16 tallies, 39 helpers, 148 shots on net, 48 hits and a minus-17 rating through 53 appearances.

Tommy Novak C | PIT
Predators' Thomas Novak: Nets lone goal in loss
Novak scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Canucks.
Novak's tally at 8:41 of the first period was 90 seconds after Nils Hoglander opened the scoring for the Canucks. The 27-year-old Novak has found a groove recently with three goals and four assists over his last seven contests, primarily in a third-line role on the wing with Fedor Svechkov at center. Novak struggled at center earlier in the season, and it's still too soon to say that he's turned a corner. For the campaign, he's at eight goals, 16 points, 71 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over 40 appearances.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Canucks' J.T. Miller: Adds late helper Wednesday
Miller produced a power-play assist and five hits in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Predators.
Miller has a goal and five assists over his last six contests. His helper Wednesday came on a Pius Suter empty-netter late in the third period. Miller is second on the Canucks with 35 points (nine goals, 26 helpers) while adding 82 shots on net, 92 hits, 37 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 40 appearances.

Elias Pettersson C | VAN
Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Provides helper Wednesday
Pettersson notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Predators.
Pettersson has a helper in consecutive contests. It's the first time he's gotten on the scoresheet in back-to-back games since a five-game streak from Nov. 27 to Dec. 6. The 26-year-old center is up to 11 goals, 21 assists, 86 shots on net, 57 blocked shots, 40 hits and a minus-3 rating through 44 appearances. Pettersson is at risk of missing the 60-point mark if he continues to struggle -- he's reached that threshold in all but one campaign in his career, with the exception being 2020-21, when he was limited to 26 of 56 games.
-
Linus Karlsson C | VAN
Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Earns first career goal
Karlsson scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Predators.
Karlsson's tally at 1:28 of the second period was his first NHL goal and point, and it was also the Canucks' game-winner. It took 10 appearances across the last two seasons for the 25-year-old forward to get on the scoresheet. He's added five shots on net, four hits and a plus-1 rating over six outings in 2024-25. Karlsson was listed on the second line Wednesday but saw ice time in line with a bottom-six forward, so he's unlikely to be much of a factor in fantasy.
-
Pius Suter C | STL
Canucks' Pius Suter: Scores empty-netter
Suter scored an empty-net goal on the power play and added two PIM in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Predators.
Suter has warmed back up with four points over his last four games. He's also getting involved in special-teams play with a power-play goal Wednesday and a shorthanded tally Monday in St. Louis. The 28-year-old is up to 13 goals -- two shy of his career high -- with 10 assists, 77 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 49 appearances.

Blake Lizotte C | PIT
Penguins' Blake Lizotte: Back in action
Lizotte (illness) will return to the lineup Wednesday versus Utah.
Lizotte will center the fourth line in his return from a three-game absence. He'll be flanked by Bokondji Imama and Noel Acciari, while Philip Tomasino and Matt Nieto exit the lineup.
