  • Ducks' Jansen Harkins: Rare two-point game

Harkins scored a goal, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Harkins had to settle for the secondary helper on Pavel Mintyukov's opening tally after creating some chaos in front of the net. Harkins was later rewarded with a goal of his own midway through the second period, which stood as the game-winner. The 27-year-old forward doesn't typically earn many points -- this was his first multi-point effort since May 1, 2022. In 2024-25, the fourth-line forward has six points, 29 shots on net, 85 hits and a minus-6 rating over 36 outings.

  • Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Pair of points in win

Zegras scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Zegras has three points over three games since he returned from a torn meniscus. The 23-year-old has added a bit of flair to the Ducks' lineup, which has scored 12 times over those three contests after getting shut out three times in the previous five games. Zegras is up to five goals, 13 points, 56 shots on net, 23 hits and a minus-7 rating over 27 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Tallies twice more in win

McTavish scored two goals on four shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

McTavish gave the Ducks a 2-1 lead late in the first period and rounded out the scoring with a power-play tally in the second frame. The 21-year-old has five goals and 10 shots on net over his last three contests as he finally looks to have it all together offensively. For the season, he's at 11 goals, 24 points, 94 shots on net, 42 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-4 rating across 43 outings.

  • Will Smith C | SJ

Sharks' Will Smith: Lights lamp in Saturday's loss

Smith scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Panthers.

Smith extended his point streak to four games (two goals, three assists), and he's gone plus-5 in that span. The 19-year-old also led all Sharks forward with 18:43 of ice time Saturday, his third-highest mark in a game this season. He has eight goals, 12 assists, 62 shots on net and a minus-12 rating across 44 appearances and looks to be gaining trust with head coach Ryan Warsofsky. Smith has played on the top line lately and may be worth considering in fantasy formats that value offense.

  • Panthers' Anton Lundell: Generates helper in Saturday's win

Lundell recorded an assist, four shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks.

Lundell has four points over his last five outings. The 23-year-old center set up a Jesper Boqvist tally, one of four scored by the Panthers in the second period. In recent weeks, Lundell has been productive in a third-line role alongside Boqvist and Carter Verhaeghe. Lundell is up to 32 points, 100 shots on net, 81 hits, 37 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 49 contests.

  • Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Produces helper in big win

Verhaeghe notched an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks.

Verhaeghe has two goals and six helpers over his last 11 contests. He's spent much of that time on the third line, and it appears he's adjusted well to his new role after faltering in a top-six spot during December. The winger is up to 11 goals, 24 assists, 148 shots on net, 69 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-16 rating over 50 appearances this season, well off the pace that has seen him top the 70-point mark in each of the last two campaigns.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Deals pair of assists

Barkov notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added two shots on goal in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks.

Barkov earned his first multi-point effort since Dec. 20 versus the Blues in this contest. His pair of helpers came on second-period tallies by Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Reinhart. Barkov is still playing well overall, but his scoring pace has slowed lately. He's at 41 points (15 on the power play), 88 shots on net, 48 hits, 39 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 40 appearances this season.

  • Sam Bennett C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Bennett: Credited with goal

Bennett scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks.

Bennett got credit for the Panthers' second tally after a net-front scramble. He has two goals in three games after enduring a stretch of 20 contests without scoring. The 28-year-old forward has 15 goals, 30 points, 143 shots on net, 102 hits, 55 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 48 appearances this season. He remains in a good position for offense on the second line, and even with his recent lengthy slump, a 50-point campaign is still within reach.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Tacks on goal in win

Reinhart scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks.

Reinhart had the final goal of Saturday's game at 16:25 of the second period. The winger has not slowed down much in January, with seven goals over his last nine outings, but he doesn't have an assist in that span. The 29-year-old has 29 goals, 53 points, 131 shots on net, 60 hits, 39 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 50 appearances. If he can sustain his offense, he'll finish north of a point per game for the third time in four years.

  • Capitals' Connor McMichael: Offers helper in loss

McMichael recorded an assist in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Canucks.

McMichael has warmed up again with four helpers over his last four outings. He's up to 10 games without a goal, but a cooldown in that area was expected after he shot 16.7 percent through the end of December. Overall, the 24-year-old is still authoring a breakout campaign with 36 points, 111 shots on net and a plus-12 rating across 49 appearances.
