Nazem Kadri C | COL
Flames' Nazem Kadri: Strong showing Thursday
Kadri recorded a shorthanded goal and two even-strength assists in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.
Kadri snapped a four-game point drought with an impressive performance, as he played a pivotal role in the Flames' comeback. He tied the game midway through the second period with his 16th goal of the campaign, and later, he added assists in two of the Flames' three third-period goals. The 34-year-old veteran remains a productive player thanks to his 32 points across 46 appearances this season.

Jonathan Huberdeau C | CGY
Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Posts three points Thursday
Huberdeau scored a shorthanded goal and added two even-strength assists in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.
Huberdeau opened the scoring for the Flames with a shortie with eight minutes left in the first period, and he later set up two of the team's four unanswered goals that would complete the comeback win. Huberdeau has been playing at a high level of late and has notched 12 points (seven goals, five assists) over his last 13 games. He might need to go on a hot streak, but a 60-point season might be within his realm of possibilities. He hasn't hit that mark since he posted a career-high 115 points in 2021-22.

Morgan Frost C | CGY
Flyers' Morgan Frost: Supplies helper in loss
Frost notched an assist in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Rangers.
Frost had gone two contests without a point after a five-game point streak. He got back on the scoresheet with a secondary helper on Owen Tippett's tally in the first period, which was the Flyers' lone goal. Frost is now at 25 points, 80 shots on net, 35 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 45 appearances. He doesn't stand out as a center, but he's in a top-six role and has been relatively steady lately after a rocky start to 2024-25.

Adam Edstrom C | NYR
Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Scores in blowout win
Edstrom scored a goal on two shots and blocked four shots in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Flyers.
Edstrom has three goals and one assist over his last seven outings. That's nearly half of his production for the season -- he has nine points over 48 appearances. The uptick in offense comes with the Rangers playing better overall, but Edstrom remains in a fourth-line role that will make consistent scoring difficult. He's added 39 shots on net, 88 hits, 31 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a minus-4 rating in 2024-25.

Tage Thompson C | BUF
Sabres' Tage Thompson: Keeps streak alive Thursday
Thompson scored a goal in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Flames.
Thompson gave the Sabres the lead midway through the second period with his 22nd goal of the season, but the team was unable to hold on to the lead the rest of the way. Thompson has been on a tear of late, as he's scored in three consecutive games while riding a five-game point streak. He's tallied 10 points (four goals, six assists) across 10 games since the beginning of January.

Dylan Holloway LW | STL
Blues' Dylan Holloway: Extends assist streak in defeat
Holloway notched an even-strength helper and doled out four hits Thursday in a 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Holloway extended his assist streak to four games in the loss, but the 23-year-old failed to record a shot on goal Thursday for the first time since Nov. 19. The 2020 first-round selection has only one marker through 10 outings in January, but he's helped offset the lack of goal scoring with 10 assists in the new year. Holloway has found success in an increased role in his first season with the Blues -- his 16:23 of average ice time this season is 5:01 more than the 11:22 he received with Edmonton in 2023-24. The left-shot center ranks second on the Blues in scoring with 15 goals and 37 points through 49 appearances in 2024-25.

Nikita Nesterenko C | ANA
Ducks' Nikita Nesterenko: Sent to AHL
Nesterenko was loaned to AHL San Diego on Friday.
Nesterenko had a goal and an assist over seven NHL games before he was a healthy scratch Thursday against Pittsburgh. He had five goals and seven assists across 29 AHL appearances before being recalled.

Ty Dellandrea C | SJ
Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Placed on injured reserve
Dellandrea (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Friday.
Dellandrea was injured Thursday versus Nashville after absorbing a high hit. The 24-year-old has only one goal and four assists in 41 games, but does contribute with 99 hits and 29 blocked shots. Look for Carl Grundstrom to enter the lineup in place of Dellandrea when the Sharks host Florida on Saturday.

Clayton Keller RW | UTA
Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Scores power-play goal
Keller recorded a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Wild.
Keller doubled Utah's lead in the latter stages of the first period with a wrister following set-ups from Matias Maccelli and Nick Schmaltz. This goal might have been the only point Keller notched in this game, but it extended his goalscoring run to three games -- and his point streak to five contests. Over that five-game stretch, Keller has notched 10 points (three goals, seven assists), seven shots on goal, one hit and four blocked shots.

Barrett Hayton C | UTA
Hockey Club's Barrett Hayton: Pots two goals Thursday
Hayton scored two goals and took four shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Wild.
Hayton broke the deadlock for Utah just 1:46 into the game, and he'd close out the scoring with a backhander 1:48 into the third period. The 24-year-old has 11 goals on the season, with four of them coming in the current month, but he's also going through a productive stretch. He's notched three multi-point efforts over his last four appearances, tallying seven points (three goals, four assists) 11 shots and a plus-2 rating in that span.
