  • Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Won't play Thursday

Sillinger (upper body) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Hurricanes, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Sillinger was considered a game-time decision for Thursday's matchup, but he'll be unavailable for a second consecutive game due to his upper-body injury. His next chance to suit up will be Saturday against the Kings.

  • Noah Gregor C | FLA

Senators' Noah Gregor: Moved to injured reserve

Gregor (lower body) was put on injured reserve Thursday, per the NHL media site.

Gregor hasn't played since Jan. 9, so he can be activated whenever he's ready to return. He has four goals, six points, 17 PIM, 67 hits and 22 blocks in 35 appearances in 2024-25. He is expected to serve in a bottom-six capacity once he's healthy.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Game-time call against Blues

Howden (illness) did travel with the team but will remain a game-time decision against the Blues on Thursday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Howden just brought a 10-game goal drought to a close with his tally against St. Louis on Monday, but he could now be in danger of missing out Thursday. If the 26-year-old forward is unable to give it a go, he figures to be replaced in the lineup by Tanner Laczynski, who was called up by the club Thursday.

  • Ducks' Isac Lundestrom: Set to return Thursday

Lundestrom (lower body) is expected to play Thursday versus Pittsburgh, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Lundestrom missed Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Florida due to the injury. He has four goals, seven points, 29 hits and 40 blocks in 44 appearances in 2024-25. Nikita Nesterenko is projected to exit the lineup due to Lundestrom's return.

  • Blue Jackets' Mathieu Olivier: Assist, fight in win

Olivier notched a shorthanded assist and five PIM in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

Olivier got the game started with a scrap, dropping the mitts in a heavyweight bout with Ryan Reaves 1:32 into the contest. After serving his fighting major, Olivier made an impact on the scoresheet by assisting on the first of Adam Fantilli's three goals in the game. This ended a five-game point drought for Olivier. The rough-and-tumble winger has a career-high 18 points as well as 171 hits, 88 PIM, 56 shots on net, 57 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 48 appearances.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: On four-game point streak

Zacha logged an assist in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Devils.

Zacha helped out on Morgan Geekie's opening goal 5:50 into the first period, but that was all the Bruins managed Wednesday. The helper extended Zacha's point streak to four games (two goals, five assists). The 27-year-old center is up to 28 points, 90 shots on net, 30 hits and a plus-3 rating over 49 appearances. He's on the top line with Geekie and David Pastrnak, which has often been the Bruins' most effective forward trio this season.

  • Devils' Justin Dowling: Snags assist in win

Dowling notched an assist, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Bruins.

Dowling had not gotten on the scoresheet in his last 16 games. The 34-year-old has filled in as a depth center at various times in 2024-25, earning four points, 20 shots on net, 23 hits, 13 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating across 32 appearances. He'll likely remain in the lineup as long as Erik Haula (ankle) is unavailable, but Dowling doesn't add enough to help in most fantasy formats.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Nabs power-play assist

Hughes logged a power-play assist and four shots on goal in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Bruins.

Hughes had been held off the scoresheet over the prior two games, which had seen the Devils limited to a total of two goals against the Flyers and Senators. The 23-year-old was able to get back on the scoresheet Wednesday when he assisted on a Stefan Noesen tally in the second period. Hughes is up to 56 points (25 on the power play), 185 shots on net and a plus-9 rating over 50 appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Tanner Laczynski: Promoted from AHL

Laczynski was called up from AHL Henderson on Thursday.

Laczynski has one goal in six NHL games with the Golden Knights this season. He was leading the Silver Knights with 25 points in 25 games before his recall. Laczynski is likely to see fourth-line action against the Blues on Thursday as the Golden Knights placed Cole Schwindt (lower body) and William Karlsson (lower body) on injured reserve Thursday.

  • Golden Knights' Brendan Brisson: Recalled from Henderson

Brisson was recalled from AHL Henderson on Thursday.

The Golden Knights need reinforcements after William Karlsson (lower body) and Cole Schwindt (lower body) were placed on injured reserve Thursday. Brisson hasn't been with the NHL club since the end of October, but he was called up to provide additional depth, along with Tanner Laczynski. Over seven appearances for Vegas this year, Brisson hasn't gotten on the scoresheet but has recorded seven hits and a minus-3 rating while averaging 10:11 of ice time.
