  • Connor Dewar C | PIT

Maple Leafs' Connor Dewar: Out with upper-body issue

Dewar will not be in the lineup against Columbus on Wednesday due to an upper-body injury, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

Dewar is currently stuck in a season-long goal drought, going all 29 games without finding the back of the net. When he has played, the 25-year-old center managed just three helpers, 78 hits and 18 blocks while averaging a mere 10:07 of ice time. With Dewar out, in addition to Max Pacioretty (upper body), Ryan Reaves figures to see some additional minutes.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Pair of points in win

Lindholm scored an empty-net goal and added an assist in Monday's 6-3 win over the Sharks.

Lindholm earned his first multi-point effort since Dec. 17. The 30-year-old center is warming up again with four points over his last four outings. He's up to eight goals, 24 points, 77 shots on net, 82 hits, 50 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 48 appearances.

  • Tyson Kozak C | BUF

Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Summoned from minors

Kozak was recalled from AHL Rochester on Tuesday.

Kozak was sent down Monday, but he's back with the big club in short order. Now that Jiri Kulich is healthy, Kozak will likely serve as Buffalo's 13th forward while Jordan Greenway (undisclosed) and Ryan McLeod (upper body) are on injured reserve.

  • Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Lands on IR

Kastelic (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Kastelic suited up in Boston's last two games after missing back-to-back contests with an upper-body injury, but he did not play in the third period of Monday's 6-3 win over the Sharks. It's unclear if his placement on IR is a result of a re-aggravation of his previous injury, but he'll now be sidelined for at least a week. Patrick Brown and Max Jones were recalled from AHL Providence on Tuesday to fill out the Bruins' forward group.

  • Bruins' Patrick Brown: Joining big club

Brown was recalled from AHL Providence on Tuesday.

Brown has played in just one NHL game this season, registering four hits, two shots and two blocks in 12:42 of ice time against the Stars on Nov. 14. With Mark Kastelic (undisclosed) going on injured reserve, there is likely one spot available in the lineup against the Devils on Wednesday. It figures to come down to Brown or Max Jones, who was also brought up Tuesday.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Another multi-point effort

Crosby recorded a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

Crosby has been very productive since the beginning of January, posting 10 points (three goals, seven assists) across 10 games. That brings him up to 13 goals and 51 points in 49 outings overall. While he probably will fall short of the 100-point plateau, he might still be able to reach the 90-point mark for the third campaign in a row. Even if he falls shy of that milestone, his productivity has been outstanding given that this is his age-37 season.

  • Zack MacEwen RW | NJ

Senators' Zack MacEwen: Taking leave of absence

MacEwen will be taking an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons, AHL Belleville announced Tuesday.

MacEwen has two goals, one assist, 26 shots on net, seven blocked shots, 49 hits and 21 PIM in 21 NHL appearances this season. The 28-year-old forward has contributed five goals, nine points and 23 PIM across 15 AHL outings during the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Keeps point streak alive Monday

Cooley scored a goal, took three shots and recorded two hits in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets.

Cooley has found the back of the net in four games in a row and has recorded at least one point in five straight, as well as in 15 of his last 18 appearances dating back to Dec. 12. With those numbers, it's not a surprise to see the 20-year-old as one of Utah's most reliable fantasy options across every format. He's notched 21 points over his last 20 games, with nine goals and 12 assists in that span.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Keeps impressive stretch alive

Keller recorded a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets.

Keller posted his fourth straight game with at least one point, and he's notched multi-point efforts three times over that stretch, so there's no doubt he's going through a very productive span. He's also cracked the scoresheet seven times and tallied 13 points (three goals, 10 helpers) in nine January outings, bringing him up to 16 goals and 50 points in 45 appearances this season.

  • Hockey Club's Barrett Hayton: Records three points Monday

Hayton recorded a goal and two assists in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets.

Hayton posted three points in a single game for the first time this season, and the 24-year-old playmaker is going through a solid stretch with six points across his last six appearances (two goals, four helpers). Hayton might have a shot at reaching his personal-best mark of 43 points, established in the 2022-23 campaign, if he has a strong second half of the regular season.
