Logan Cooley C | UTA
Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Delivers assist in loss
Cooley provided an assist in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Islanders.
Cooley helped out on Nick Schmaltz's second-period tally. The helper was Cooley's first point in two games since he was moved up to the top line. It looks like he'll get a chance to stay there while Dylan Guenther (lower body) is out for an indefinite length of time. Cooley has earned six points with a minus-9 rating over eight contests since the holiday break, and he's at 11 goals, 25 assists, 82 shots on net, 29 hits and a plus-4 rating through 42 outings overall.

Nick Schmaltz C | UTA
Hockey Club's Nick Schmaltz: Tips in goal
Schmaltz scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Islanders.
Schmaltz tipped in a Michael Kesselring shot in the second period for the game's opening goal. The tally was Schmaltz's second in as many contests, which follows a four-game slump for the 28-year-old forward. He's now at eight goals, 31 points, 92 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating over 42 appearances in a top-six role.

Nick Suzuki C | MON
Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Point streak reaches six
Suzuki had an assist and two shots on net in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to Dallas.
It didn't take Montreal long -- just 14 seconds -- after a couple of Dallas penalties left them two skaters down. The usual suspects were involved with the goal; Suzuki and Lane Hutson picked up the helpers on a Patrik Laine goal. It was the sixth straight game on the scoresheet for Suzuki, who has seven points (three on the power play) during the streak.

Brock Nelson C | COL
Islanders' Brock Nelson: Goals in consecutive games
Nelson scored a goal on four shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 2-1 win over Utah.
Nelson has scored twice and added an assist over the last two games after being limited to four helpers over the prior 17 contests. His tally Saturday tied the game at 1-1 early in the third period. Nelson is up to 12 goals, 24 points, 105 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 42 appearances this season. He's got budding chemistry on a line with Mathew Barzal and Anders Lee, which could carry the Islanders' offense for a while.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: First multi-point effort of season
Barzal scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 2-1 win over Utah.
Barzal extended his point streak to five games when he helped out on Brock Nelson's game-tying goal in the third period. With 1:25 left in regulation, Barzal scored to put the Islanders ahead, and that would stand as his first game-winner of the season. He's now at four goals, 13 points, 55 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 21 appearances. The 27-year-old has looked good lately and should be a team leader on offense throughout the second half.

Mavrik Bourque C | DAL
Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Logs helper in win
Bourque had an assist, one shot, three blocks and two PIM in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over Montreal.
Bourque pounced on a loose puck and hit Jamie Benn in stride to set up Dallas' lone score in regulation. It was the third straight game with a point for Bourque, who has three goals and seven assists over 36 outings.

Sam Bennett C | FLA
Panthers' Sam Bennett: Snaps slump with helper
Bennett logged an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Bruins.
Bennett set up Sam Reinhart for the game-tying goal, a buzzer-beater in the third period. The helper was Bennett's first point since Dec. 16 -- he went nine games without getting on the scoresheet after missing one contest due to an illness. Even with the slump, Bennett has 28 points, 115 shots on net, 90 hits, 53 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 41 appearances. He was on a career-best pace and should still be able to achieve his first 50-point campaign if he can get his offense back on track.

Trent Frederic C | EDM
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Picks up assist
Frederic logged an assist, four hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Panthers.
Frederic has two points over his last five games, but that's also all of his offense since a two-goal game Dec. 7 versus the Flyers. The 26-year-old forward is at 13 points, 63 shots on net, 128 hits, 37 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 45 appearances. That rough style of play may make him an option in deeper fantasy formats, but his offense isn't likely to be consistent.

Elias Lindholm C | BOS
Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Snags assist Saturday
Lindholm registered an assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Panthers.
Lindholm ended a four-game point drought with the helper. In that span, he went minus-8 with nine shots on net, eight hits and seven blocked shots. Lindholm had a good stretch in late December but has largely struggled to be consistent in 2024-25. For the season, the center has 21 points, 71 shots on net, 76 hits, 48 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 45 appearances.

Jared McCann C | SEA
Kraken's Jared McCann: Three-game, four-assist streak
McCann has two assists in a 6-2 win over Buffalo on Saturday.
One assist came on the power play. McCann is on a three-game, four-assist streak that includes two power-play points. He also has six shots. McCann has just three goals in his last 18 outings, which is odd for a forward who's known more for sniping than playmaking. He has 32 points (13 goals, 19 assists) and 107 shots in 43 games overall. The goals will come.
