Fedor Svechkov C | NSH
Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Goal, assist in win
Svechkov scored a goal on two shots, dished a power-play assist and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Flames.
Svechkov set up the first of Ryan O'Reilly's three goals in the game. In the third period, Svechkov got to a loose puck after a faceoff and swatted it past Dustin Wolf for the Predators' third goal. Svechkov earned his first multi-point effort at the NHL level. The 21-year-old forward has collected four points, 14 shots on net, 11 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 11 outings this season. If he continues to play well in the absences of Thomas Novak (upper body), Cole Smith (lower body) and Zachary L'Heureux (suspension), Svechkov could stick around with the big club for a while, though likely in a bottom-six role.

Ryan O'Reilly C | NSH
Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Leads the way with hat trick
O'Reilly scored three times on six shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Flames.
He potted two power-play goals in the second period before adding an empty-netter in the third. O'Reilly continued a productive stretch with his best game of the year. He has seven goals and four assists over his last 11 outings. With the Predators finding more offense in recent weeks, O'Reilly's recent surge should be somewhat sustainable. He's up to 12 goals, 25 points, 68 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating through 37 appearances.

Chandler Stephenson C | SEA
Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Buries goal on breakaway
Stephenson scored a goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers.
Stephenson has scored in back-to-back games for the first time this season. The 30-year-old got the Kraken on the board with a breakaway tally in the second period. Stephenson is up to five goals, 25 points, 36 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 39 appearances in his first campaign with Seattle.

Derek Ryan C | EDM
Oilers' Derek Ryan: Draws in, earns assist
Ryan logged an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Ryan got into the lineup for the third time in eight games. All of his appearances in that span have come in the second half of back-to-back sets, with this one coming at the expense of Corey Perry. Ryan's no lock to pick up more playing time in January, and even if he does, it'll be in a fourth-line role that offers minimal fantasy value. The 38-year-old has five points, 17 shots on net, 23 hits, 21 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 32 contests this season.

Connor Brown RW | NJ
Oilers' Connor Brown: Posts assist in win
Brown notched an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Brown has six helpers over his last six outings. He has appeared on the top line for a few games, but his 19:24 of ice time Saturday made it look like more than just an on-paper designation. That makes Brown an interesting option in fantasy. He's at 19 points, 55 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 39 appearances while seeing nothing more than traces of power-play time. If he continues to see top-line usage, he should be rostered in more fantasy formats, as any proximity to Connor McDavid is typically a good thing for most players.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Reaches 10-goal mark
Nugent-Hopkins scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Nugent-Hopkins has scored six times and added two assists over his last 10 outings. He's up to the 10-goal mark this season while also producing 12 assists, 79 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. Nugent-Hopkins has exceeded the 20-goal mark just once in the previous four campaigns when he had 37 tallies and 104 points in 2022-23, by far the best year of his career.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Empty-netter, assist in win
Draisaitl scored an empty-net goal on four shots and added an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Draisaitl's point streak is now at 14 games (12 goals, 15 helpers). He's scored late goals in each of the last three contests, including two empty-netters, but they all count the same in fantasy. The 29-year-old superstar is up to 29 tallies, 30 helpers, 120 shots on net and a plus-22 rating through 39 appearances this season. While he's shooting a lofty 24.2 percent, he's so dialed in this year that there's potential for Draisaitl to surpass his career high in goals (55), which he set in 2021-22.

Trent Frederic C | EDM
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Snaps 11-game goal drought
Frederic scored a goal in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Toronto.
Frederic snapped an 11-game goal drought. He has struggled to produce this campaign with 12 points (six goals, six assists) through 41 games after establishing career highs offensively in 2023-24 with 18 goals and 40 points across 82 regular-season appearances. Frederic is unrosterable right now for offensive purposes.

Brett Howden C | LV
Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Records helper in win
Howden notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres.
Howden had gone two games without a point, his longest drought in three weeks. The 26-year-old ended the short dry spell when he set up Tanner Laczynski for the opening goal at 4:53 of the first period. Howden hasn't done much playmaking this year -- he's racked up 15 goals and five assists to get to the 20-point mark for the third time in seven NHL campaigns. He's added 66 shots on net, 67 hits, 30 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 39 appearances.

Tanner Laczynski C | LV
Golden Knights' Tanner Laczynski: Tallies in Saturday's win
Laczynski scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres.
Laczynski drew into the lineup for Victor Olofsson (illness) in this contest, though Tanner Pearson was the player bumped up into the top six. Laczynski was able to earn his first goal and point in six NHL outings this season when he opened the scoring at 4:53 of the first period. The 27-year-old forward has added two shots on net, two hits, two blocked shots, six PIM and an even plus-minus rating. He's unlikely to see much more than bottom-six minutes for as long as he's in the lineup.
