Clayton Keller RW | UTA
Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Stays warm with assist
Keller produced an assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Keller's point streak is up to five games (four goals, six assists). The 26-year-old helped out on a Barrett Hayton tally in the third period as Utah tried to create a comeback. Keller continues to play above a point-per-game pace with 36 points, as well as 87 shots on net and a plus-3 rating, through 34 appearances this season. He's been even better lately and will look to sustain that success after the holiday break when Utah hosts Colorado on Friday.

Kevin Stenlund C | UTA
Hockey Club's Kevin Stenlund: Pots goal in loss
Stenlund scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Stenlund tied the game at 1-1 just 99 seconds after Colin Blackwell opened the scoring for Dallas. The 28-year-old Stenlund went on an impressive five-game point streak earlier in December, but sustaining that pace was always going to be a tall order for the defensive-minded center. He's produced six goals, four assists, 46 shots on net, 27 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 34 appearances.

Barrett Hayton C | UTA
Hockey Club's Barrett Hayton: Goals in consecutive games
Hayton scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
After going 21 games without a goal, Hayton has scored in back-to-back contests. His tally brought Utah within one in the third period, but the team couldn't tie the game. The 24-year-old center has four points over his last four outings and is up to seven goals, 16 points, 51 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 34 appearances this season. He's got something to prove to fantasy managers, but Hayton has some clear upside as long as he remains on the top line.

Elias Pettersson C | VAN
Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Leaves Monday's game
Pettersson (undisclosed) departed Monday's 4-3 win against the Sharks after suffering an injury in the second period, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Head coach Rick Tocchet relayed that Pettersson tried one shift in the third period before leaving the contest. Tocchet also said "We've got the break. I don't think it's too bad. We'll see how it is." The 26-year-old Pettersson scored two goals on four shots in 14:56 of ice time before exiting, snapping a six-game point drought in the process. The Swedish center's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Saturday's divisional matchup against the Kraken.

Oskar Back C | DAL
Stars' Oskar Back: Logs helper in win
Back notched an assist in Monday's 3-2 win over Utah.
Back has five helpers over his last eight contests. The 24-year-old remains firmly in a fourth-line role, but the increased offense suggests he's getting a little more comfortable in the middle of his first NHL campaign. Back is up to nine points, 17 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through 28 outings overall. Despite his increased offense, he's not a player most fantasy managers will need to rely on.
-
Mavrik Bourque C | DAL
Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Garners assist
Bourque logged an assist in Monday's 3-2 win over Utah.
Bourque is getting a look on the top line at even strength, and he capitalized on the chance by setting up Roope Hintz's goal Monday. The 22-year-old Bourque has three points over his last eight games -- that's still modest production, but it's a slight uptick from where's been for most of the year. He's at seven points, 25 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 28 appearances.
-
Wyatt Johnston C | DAL
Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Posts assist in win
Johnston recorded an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 3-2 win over Utah.
This was Johnston's third helper over the last four games, though he's gone six contests without a goal. It's not his worst slump of the year -- he had a 10-game goal drought from Oct. 15 to Nov. 9. He's now at the 20-point mark (six goals, 14 assists) with 93 shots on net, 20 hits and a plus-1 rating over 33 appearances. Johnston is currently centering the third line, though he's had somewhat limited success both there and as a right wing on the top line.

Max Sasson C | VAN
Canucks' Max Sasson: Sent to AHL
Sasson was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Monday.
Sasson has been a healthy scratch in each of Vancouver's past three games, but he's offered flashes of his potential in limited minutes -- the 24-year-old has accounted for one goal, four assists and a plus-3 rating through 12 appearances. The Michigan native could be back with the big club in the near future.
-
Colin Blackwell C | DAL
Stars' Colin Blackwell: Tallies opening goal
Blackwell scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 3-2 win over Utah.
Blackwell has scored twice over the last three games. His tally Monday opened the scoring at 11:02 of the first period. The 31-year-old forward is up to four goals, eight points, 35 shots on net, 38 hits and a plus-3 rating through 28 appearances. He continues to be a steady veteran presence on the fourth line, but the lack of offense makes him a player most fantasy managers don't need to keep tabs on.

Linus Karlsson C | VAN
Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Demoted Monday
Karlsson was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Monday.
Karlsson has yet to record a point in six NHL appearances. He'll return to Abbotsford, where he's potted five goals and added an assist through seven games in 2024-25.
